Tim Tebow has undoubtedly seen his share of backlash and criticism over the years.
Ever since news broke that Tebow will try his hand at tight end for the Jacksonville Jaguars, the hate-spewing Left has ramped up their efforts to take him down.
But you won’t believe which legendary rock star just came to Tim Tebow’s defense.
Tim Tebow has never shied away from his faith in Christ.
In fact, he has put it on full display for all the world to see.
It’s refreshing to many to have an athlete be so open in their desire to glorify God.
But for the Left, this is unacceptable, and Tebow is to be banished for not just believing in God but for being so blatant about it.
There are few celebrities courageous enough to defend Tebow for fear that they might get canceled by the woke outrage mob, but an unlikely rock legend had no problem sticking up for the former Florida Gators QB.
Gene Simmons, best known as the bassist and lead singer of the rock band KISS, jumped to defend Tebow and condemn those attacking him for his Christian faith.
Simmons tweeted, “He was widely criticized and made fun of simply because he is a man of faith who believed in his Christian values. Shame on the NFL and the rest of the world for stooping so low.”
Tebow has been beaten down for years over his faith.
Comedian John Oliver of the Daily Show once said, “I dislike [Zimbabwe dictator] Robert Mugabe. I hate Tim Tebow. If I was in a room with Tim Tebow and [Osama] bin Laden, and I had a gun with one bullet, I’d shoot bin Laden. I’m not a monster. But if I had two bullets, I’d shoot Tim Tebow first.”
Saturday Night Live dedicated an entire skit to making fun of Tebow for kneeling to pray before his games.
This type of rhetoric from the Left is what is causing the moral decline of the United States.
Faith and morals no longer have any place in America, and the woke mob is on a mission to destroy anyone who says differently.
One can only hope that more celebrities like Gene Simmons are willing to take on the Left and their hate-filled agenda.
