The Catholic Church has been standing in opposition to the Left for centuries.
Despite many liberals trying to end that, there are many steadfast in that fight.
And what this Catholic Bishop just said about abortion has leftists fuming with anger.
With Pope Francis at the helm of the Catholic Church, many are refusing to speak out against the radical Left.
In fact, there are many figures in the Church fighting right alongside them.
Thankfully, there are a solid number of leaders in the Church taking a stand in favor of the conservative principles their religion is based on.
Among them is Bishop Joseph Strickland of Tyler, Texas.
On his show, The Bishop Strickland Show, he tore into the Left for promoting a culture that so easily disposes of human life through the grizzly act of abortion.
He points out that for too long people have disregarded and abandoned the fundamental notion “of the sanctity of life in the womb,” adding that “it’s built into our DNA now that life isn’t sacred,” and can be easily disposed of “if you have the power and the desire.”
Bishop Strickland went on to speak about how protecting unborn lives is so important because “if we don’t care about the unborn, then we’re opening the door to not caring about anyone.”
And Strickland didn’t spare pro-abortion politicians in all political parties, stating that politicians should put the sanctity of the unborn at the forefront of their political agenda.
“There are many politicians, certainly in both parties, […] that just ignore the sanctity of the life of the unborn. If we could just embrace that and then absolutely work on all the other ills,” Bishop Strickland said.
Few religious figures are willing to speak out like Bishop Strickland is.
But Bishop Strickland understands the importance of standing up for the rights of the unborn.
Every year, hundreds of thousands of unborn babies are murdered, and it is entirely legal because politicians refuse to stand up for them.
Thankfully, there are a number of leading figures in the church who aren’t afraid to call out the politicians who keep this despicable act legal.
