This former NFL MVP’s career is in shambles after falling for this liberal fad

54

The NFL has become obnoxiously political over the past few years.

Leftists have attempted to infuse their ideology into the sport, most notably with the anti-American anthem protests that started in 2016.

And now, one liberal fad could be responsible for ruining one star player’s career.

Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton has won the NFL’s Most Valuable Player award, and came close to winning Super Bowl 50.

But Newton’s current season has been derailed by injuries, and experts believe it could be related to his diet.

Newton has opted for a vegan diet, which bars him from eating meat and animal products.

Making up for lost protein can be very difficult on a vegan diet, and some believe that’s what has led to Newton’s increased and prolonged injuries.

The vegan diet has become incredibly popular among leftists because they believe entirely in the climate change hysteria, which says eating meat increases global warming.

For example, the communist fever dream known as the “Green New Deal” that so many on the Left have openly endorsed wants to eventually eliminate meat altogether.

But the vegan diet consequences for Cam Newton have experts concerned.

Breitbart reports:

Boston-area nutritionist Nancy Clark insisted that it is certainly possible for an athlete to do well on a vegan diet, but, she added, it takes extremely careful planning and even extensive overcompensating.
. . .
“The concern is: Is [Newton] consuming enough protein and enough calories? When you’re in calorie deficit, which he obviously has been because he’s been losing weight, some of the protein that you eat gets burned for gas in the car instead of getting used to build muscle.”

Other experts agreed that veganism is a hard sell for athletes. Former bodybuilder John Howie noted that it can be hard to keep a balance between losing fat but also losing muscle mass at the same time. The lack of protein is the hardest thing to figure since everyone’s body reacts differently to diets.

Proponents of the vegan diet have tried to make the argument that eating meat is ultimately bad for your health.

But the advantages of meat protein are undeniable.

In fact, many people — like noted psychologist Jordan Peterson — even thrive on the carnivore diet, which consists of eating nothing but meat.

Do you think it was a mistake for Cam Newton to go on a vegan diet at the peak of his career?

Let us know in the comment section.

  1. I no nothing about football, but I am sorry this man suffered, and possibly lost his chances of furthering his career, because of his vegan diet. But why didn’t he check all the pros and cons of a vegan diet BEFORE he started it?
On a personal note I would like to add, I am so happy I got here before Vasu starting posting another of his novels. Especially the one about ALL the benefits of a vegan diet. Hey, Vasu you want to contact Mr. Newton and tell him his losses is all worth it because it supports the bigger picture of obtaining ” The New Green Deal”?? I’m sure he will agree with you. NOT…..

    • Lisa Coston: Isn’t it amazing that our planet has survived million of years without the intervention of you Leftists fanatics screaming we are destroying it by raising livestock. Or not supporting the new green deal. For every “proof” you bring forward to support your concerns, there are others disclaiming it.
I wouldn’t accept ANYTHING you Leftists support because I know what is REALLY behind your causes. And it’s not concern for our planet,, the people, or our health. It’s about control, power and greed.
Oh and by the way, your attack on Linda M. was appalling. Vasu is an annoying pest that comes on these Conservative websites with his cut and paste BS. He never voices an opinion. Just his Nazi propaganda. She had a perfect right to point this out. As many of us have done in the past.

        • RFT; You are so brainwashed. No hope of ever trying to reason with the likes as you.Just take a look at YOUR parties actions and how they are conducting themselves in congress, and tell me they have our countries best interest at heart. And seeing all that, tell me anyone in their right mind would back them up .All they are lacking is the brown shirts and the swastikas, buddy. I’m surprised as hell Pelosi and her pals the squad aren’t goose stepping when they walk anywhere! Wake up and see the truth, if you are capable….

      • Jim P. I agree with your reply to Lisa Costen and the fool who called him/herself racists for trump. They are both zombies mindlessly following the latest “it” fad as their religion.

    • God created animals on this earth so
what ever gases they put in the air is all part of God’s Plan. And the manure they leave on the ground inriches the earth

    • And you don’t think that the human population passes just as much if not more gas than cows ?
OH MY !!! Maybe that crazy woman was not crazy. We should eat babies to cut down on green house gases .And then enforce human birth control on the entire earths population. In just a few years all will be well again on planet earth as the human population will decrease tremendously.

    • OK, we quit with the livestock. Now, what are we going to do with all the billions of other animals on the planet who have the same gaseous emissions as the cows. My gosh, you must be so narrow in your thinking, don’t you question anything!?!?

    • Lisa, the only scientific fact that can be accepted, is that you Leftists want to control the earth on down to body functions. And, the only thing we have to learn how to live with, is the eternal diarrhea of the mouth you Leftists spew. You should be the poster child for, You can’t fix Stupid”.

      • How true that is and the only thing to to these F**KING asshole is the fact that they are out to completely destroy our country that so many young men and women has sacrificed their lives so that they have the right to be able to think freely and without this they would be under complete control of some lunatic like Hitler was but maybe that is what they want and shame on the New York population voting these bad ass women in power I served 28 plus in our great military and so I believe we still have the best troops in the world

    • Lisa, I think you would be surprised to find out that many people don’t view Stanford as an outstanding university. It is the bastion of the far left.

    • It’s probably a “respected” university run by liberals. I agree with Gay Phillips. Some of our best universities have gone to hell, like HARVARD

    • There more cattle in India and they are not raised for beef, they are sacred . India and China are the World’s biggest generators of CO2 but CO2 only makes up 3 % of all the gases in our atmosphere. The United States only produce 3% of the world’s CO2 and if we did not produce any beef it might reduce our output 20 2.99999% Eat meat and give up on thinking you are protecting the Planet. Man cannot change anything which God has created. Surely you learned in elementary school that matter cannot be destroyed.

  2. From The Pritikin Plan (1982), to The McDougall Plan (1983), to A Vegetarian Sourcebook (1983), to John Robbins’ Pulitzer Prize nominated Diet for A New America (1987), to Vegan Nutrition: Pure and Simple (1987), to Vegan: The New Ethic of Eating (1999), to The China Study (2005), to Please Don’t Eat the Animals (2007), to the DVDs Forks Over Knives and Vegucated (2011), to the documentary Plant Pure Nation (2015), to The Healthiest Diet on the Planet (2016) from medical authorities like Dr. Steve Blake, Dr. Alan Goldhammer, Dr. Michael Greger, Dr. Michael Klaper, Dr. John McDougall, etc. it is becoming increasingly clear that humans are suited for a plant-based diet and the optimum human diet contains virtually no animal protein.

“Each year, the meat industrial complex abuses and butchers nearly nine billion cows, pigs, sheep, turkeys, chickens, and other innocent, feeling animals just for the enjoyment of consumers. Each year, nearly 1.5 million of these consumers are crippled and killed prematurely by heart failure, cancer, stroke, and other chronic diseases that have been linked conclusively with the consumption of these animals. Each year, millions of other animals are abused and sacrificed in a vain search for a ‘magic pill’ that would vanquish these largely self-inflicted diseases.”

—Alex Hershaft, PhD, president, Farm Animal Reform Movement

When analyzing 8,300 deaths in the United States, United Kingdom, and Germany among 76,000 men and women in five different, large studies, researchers concluded that vegetarians have a 24 percent reduction in death from heart disease.

Similarly, in the famous Oxford Vegetarian Study, where six thousand vegetarians were compared with five thousand meat-eaters over nearly two decades, scientists found that the rate of death from heart disease was 28 percent lower in vegetarians than in meat-eaters.

One study analyzed eighty scientific studies in leading medical journals. The analysis found that vegetarians had lower blood pressure, and were less likely to suffer from stroke, heart attack, and kidney failure.

A large German study of nearly two thousand vegetarians found that deaths from heart disease were reduced by over one-third, and that heart disease itself was far less than that of the general population.

Another large study examined the coronary artery disease risk of young adults ages eighteen to thirty and vegetarians were found to have much higher levels of cardiovascular fitness and a greatly reduced risk of heart disease.

“The process of gradual blocking of the coronary arteries begins not in adulthood but in childhood…and the main cause of this arteriosclerosis is the steadily increasing amount of fat in the American diet, particularly saturated animal fats such as those found in meat, chicken, milk and cheeses. If there was another disease that caused half a million deaths a year, you can be sure that the public would be acutely aware of the danger, and that the cure or prevention would be universally practiced.”

–Dr. Benjamin Spock, author, child expert

“I don’t understand why asking people to eat a well-balanced vegetarian diet is considered drastic, while it is medically conservative to cut people open and put them on powerful cholesterol-lowering drugs for the rest of their lives.”

–Dr. Dean Ornish, author, Reversing Heart Disease

Stroke is the third leading cause of death behind heart disease and cancer. Vegetarians have a twenty to thirty percent reduced risk of having a stroke. Stroke, like heart disease, is associated with diets high in saturated fats, and the vegetarian diet is naturally low in these fats.

The Oxford Vegetarian Study found cancer mortality to be 39 percent lower among vegetarians when compared with meat-eaters. The European Prospective Investigation of Cancer found vegetarians suffer forty percent fewer cancers than the general population.

Studies have shown that decreasing a woman’s animal fat intake can reduce the chances that she will die from breast cancer. A large-scale, long-term study in the Netherlands found a powerful connection between the amount of animal fat consumed and the rate of prostate cancer. A review of a dozen studies found dietary fat strongly correlated with prostate cancer.

Ovarian, uterine, and endometrial cancers have all been shown to be strongly correlated to the amount of animal fat in one’s diet, and vegetarian women have significantly lower rates of these cancers.

“The beef industry has contributed to more American deaths than all the wars of this century, all the natural disasters, and all automobile accidents combined.”

–Dr. Neal Barnard, Executive Director, Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine

“Vegetarians have the best diet. They have the lowest rate of coronary disease of any group in the country. They have a fraction of our heart attack rate and they have only forty percent of our cancer rate.”

–William Castelli, MD, Director, Framingham Heart Study

“Human beings are not natural carnivores. When we kill animals to eat them, they end up killing us because their flesh, which contains cholesterol and saturated fat, was never intended for human beings…”

–Dr. William Roberts, editor-in-chief, American Journal of Cardiology

If meat-eating were healthy would you eat it? Pro-lifers believing the unborn child has a right to life won’t be swayed by studies showing abortion is safer than childbirth. Neither are animal advocates affected by debates whether animal products are healthier.

Les Brown of the Overseas Development Council calculates that if Americans reduced their meat consumption by only ten percent per year, it would free at least twelve million tons of grain for human consumption–or enough to feed sixty million people.

    Humans are Biologically Built Vegetarian.

    http://www.atlanteanconspiracy.com/2013/01/humans-are-biologically-built-vegetarian.html

Our human anatomy is undeniably designed to subsist on plant foods and not on animal flesh; literally every aspect of our bodies proves we are herbivore/frugivores and not carnivore/omnivores.

To begin with, humans and other natural vegetarians have four times longer, convoluted intestinal tracts perfect for slow digesting fruits and starches, whereas omnivore/carnivores have four times shorter intestines to quickly push out the acidic, putrefying animal flesh they eat.

Humans have alkaline saliva ptyalin to pre-digest grains, alkaline urine, and weak stomach acid whereas all omnivore/carnivores have acidic saliva, acidic urine, and ten to one thousand times stronger hydrochloric stomach acid essential for digesting meat. All natural flesh-eaters also secrete the enzyme “uricase” necessary to metabolize the uric acid in meat, but uricase is not produced by our human bodies.

Humans have lateral jaw movement and flat molars for grinding grains and vegetables whereas natural flesh eaters have no lateral jaw movement and scores of huge fangs for biting and ripping. Humans have short, weak fingernails whereas carnivores and omnivores have long, strong, sharp claws for cutting through skin and flesh.

Humans must take in Vitamin C from our food whereas all carnivores and most omnivore’s bodies produce their own Vitamin C. Natural omnivores and carnivores also have a microbial tolerance far higher than humans. For example the botulinum toxin which is deadly to humans but is easily and safely digested by natural flesh-eaters.

Humans eating a high fat diet become obese, lazy, and diseased whereas natural flesh eaters stay trim, energetic and absolutely thrive on their high fat diet.

Human mouths water at the sights and smells of ripe plant foods whereas omnivore/carnivore’s mouths water at the sight and smell of dead animal carcasses. To humans the image and stench of bloody roadkill turns the stomach and is not the least bit appetizing. The only way we will even eat animal flesh is if it is first cleaned, marinated, and seasoned with various vegetarian herbs and spices to make it palatable.

Human vision is easily able to differentiate various colors making it simple to discern ripe from unripe plant foods, whereas the color vision of most omnivore/carnivores is far less discerning.

Humans sleep only six to twelve hours a day like most herbivore/frugivores, whereas most omnivore/carnivores sleep eighteen to twenty hours a day. Humans sweat from pores all over our bodies whereas all carnivores and most omnivores release perspiration from their tongues. Humans have single births and two mammary glands whereas most all omnivores and carnivores birth litters of several babies have have rows upon rows of mammary glands.

In summation, our bodies clearly resemble that of an herbivore/frugivore, not an omnivore/carnivore. For the human body, animal flesh is highly acidic, fattening, cholesterol-laden, artery-clogging, lymph-clotting, mucus-forming, constipating, difficult to digest, and full of worms, parasites, bacteria, metabolic waste, hormones, and chemicals all of which breed disease.

For human beings there is not a single vitamin, mineral, nutrient, phyto-nutrient, amino-acid, fatty-acid, protein-chain, omega, or any other such elusive vital ingredient to health, not a single thing found in meat (or dairy) products that cannot be found, in greater abundance and more optimally, in the plant kingdom. Put simply, humans are biologically built vegetarians.

    • Vasu Murti: Oh yes Vasu I will certainly watch this documentary! I believe it’s on the “when pigs fly” channel is it not? Thanks!!!
Oh and Vasu, just so you know, I am neither fat or lazy by eating the meats my one GOD said was acceptable.

      • First off if that was really true communion would truly be with meat as the body, not bread and blood would be blood, not wine. First book of the bible tells that the nuts of the trees shall be are meat. Truth is the healthiest group of people in the United States who are 7th Day Adventist and they are Vegans. We do not have acids in our digestive system capable of digesting meat and our intestinal tract is like 4 times longer than that of a canine. One meat meal will take 4 days to pass thru a human and 4-6 hours through a canine their track is 6 ft. Linda, you really shouldn’t be such a smug dumb ass but with that attitude, stupidy comes naturally. Maybe try reading, and listening, you just might learn something new.

        • Jay Linenmuth: Thanks for the name calling. Is that what the 7th Day Adventists teach you?? And stupid? Well, I have more education and common sense than you will ever have. But I suppose you being another ignorant Leftists I wouldn’t expect anything different. And your opinion of me means nothing…
Maybe you should a little more reading of the bible about what GOD allows us to eat before judging me. And as far as you being the healthiest group of people in the US. I never read that in ANY report before. But one thing for sure, it certainly doesn’t make you the nicest , now does it?? You pompous ass…..

        • Jay Linenmuth: You were right with one of your comments. Stupidly does come naturally. And you proved that with your comments.
If people like you live longer, then thank GOD we won’t be around to deal with your self-rightist attitudes forever.

  4. Animal rights are not a “liberal fad.” You’d think the unborn-right-to-lifers would immediately understand the animal-right-to-lifers! The case for animal rights should be readily understandable to the millions of Americans opposed to abortion on demand.

“Although I may disagree with some of its underlying principles,” writes pro-life Democrat Karen Swallow Prior, “there is much for me, an anti-abortion activist, to respect in the animal rights movement. Animal rights activists, like me, have risked personal safety and reputation for the sake of other living beings. Animal rights activists, like me, are viewed by many in the mainstream as fanatical wackos, ironically exhorted by irritated passerby to ‘Get a Life!’ Animal rights activists, like me, place a higher value on life than on personal comfort and convenience, and in balancing the sometimes competing interests of rights and responsibilities, choose to err on the side of compassion and nonviolence.”

The animal rights movement, representing a cross-section of mainstream secular American society, is NOT “officially pro-choice,” but IS divided on abortion. In a 1992 interview on Dennis Prager’s conservative talk show, when specifically asked about the animal rights position on abortion, Ingrid Newkirk, co-founder of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), admitted, “We’re divided.”

Former television game show host Bob Barker is a conservative Republican and an animal activist. Tony LaRussa of the Animal Rescue Foundation is a political conservative. Vegan labor leader Cesar Chavez was pro-life. Vegan civil rights leader Dick Gregory was pro-life. Former Washington Post columnist Colman McCarthy, a devout pacifist, has expressed opposition to abortion, and in the 1980s was critical of Reverend Jesse Jackson for having changed sides on the issue.

Dixie Mahy, past president of the San Francisco Vegetarian Society, has been vegetarian for sixty years, vegan for forty of those sixty years, and identifies herself as pro-life-and-pro-animal Matthew Scully, a conservative Catholic and former speechwriter for George W. Bush identifies himself as “Pro-Animal, Pro-Life.” Catholic Concern for Animals is pro-life-and-pro-animal. Reverend Frank Hoffman’s http://www.all-creatures.org Christian vegan website is pro-life-and-pro-animal Compassion for animals is a fundamental tenet of the Baha’i faith, which endorses vegetarianism, says abortion is more a matter of individual conscience, but concludes, without taking a position on abortion, life should not be destroyed.

John Stuart Mill wrote: “The reasons for legal intervention in favor of children apply not less strongly to the case of those unfortunate slaves — the animals.”

Animals are like children. Henry Bergh, founder of the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), successfully prosecuted a woman for child abuse in 1873, at a time when children had no legal protection, under the then currently existing animal protection statutes. This case started the child-saving crusade around the world.

In Christianity and the Rights of Animals, the Reverend Dr. Andrew Linzey writes: “In some ways, Christian thinking is already oriented in this direction. What is it that so appalls us about cruelty to children or oppression of the vulnerable, but that these things are betrayals of relationships of special care and special trust? Likewise, and even more so, in the case of animals who are mostly defenseless before us.”

When told the animal rights movement is divided on abortion, Serrin Foster, Executive Director of Feminists For Life, said understandingly, “The Children’s Defense Fund is also divided on abortion.” Feminists For Life has many vegetarians and vegans. Serrin identifies herself as a vegetarian.

From 1992 through 2003, James Dawson, raised Catholic and now a Buddhist, published Live and Let Live, a pro-life / animal rights / libertarian ‘zine. The ancient eastern reincarnationist religions Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism all predate Christianity, all oppose abortion, all teach ahimsa, or nonviolence towards humans and animals alike to the point of vegetarianism, all are vegan-friendly, and all teach that abortion and war are the karma for killing animals, and that therefore, we cannot end abortion nor bring about world peace until first we abolish the killing of animals.

This knowledge, however, does not rest with everyone. Not all pro-life-and-pro-animal people advocate the reincarnationist strategy for ending abortion and bringing about world peace. Shay Van Vlieman, founder of Vegans For Life in the late ’90s, said she doesn’t expect to see a vegan president in her lifetime: she would just be glad to elect a president who will work to overturn Roe v. Wade. And she insists she is not a Republican, but a libertarian!

During the late 1990s, Rachel MacNair, a Quaker pacifist, feminist, vegan, past president of Feminists For Life, moderated an email list for pro-life vegetarians and pro-life vegans. Rachel is now a psychology professor, and has written several books on nonviolence. In 1998, the Animals Agenda ran a cover story on the debate within the animal rights movement over abortion. Vegan congressman Dennis Kucinich (D – Ohio), one of the most liberal members of Congress, was pro-life throughout most of his political career.

Pro-life vegetarians and pro-life vegans are found within the “consistent-ethic” movement: pro-lifers opposed to capital punishment. A significant number of “consistent-ethic” Christians were / are vegetarian or vegan: Rose Evans, Ruth Enero, Rachel MacNair, Albert Fecko, Carol Crossed, Bill Samuel, Mary Krane Derr, Mary Rider, Father John Dear, etc.

Mary Rider, a practicing Catholic, wrote in Harmony: Voices for a Just Future, a “consistent-ethic” periodical in 2002:

“So we teach our children to walk softly on the earth and to embrace nonviolence as the only legitimate means of conflict resolution, on both a personal and a global level. We are aware of the excessive, privileged life we lead as educated, first world U.S. citizens and of the responsibilities to which our privilege calls us. We try to live simply. We eat low on the food chain. We try to buy nothing new… We try to respect all life and carry that message forward in all we do… Because we value people and relationships over things… First world consumption kills people around the world… Pollution, environmental devastation, corrupt governments, war, sweatshops… all are a are a result of our desire to buy more at a lower price… We believe each person has a right to live a valued and respected life free from hunger and discrimination…”

The threat of overpopulation is frequently used to justify abortion as birth control. On a vegan diet, however, the world could easily support a human population several times its present size. The world’s cattle alone consume enough to feed over 8.7 billion humans. Even if abortion advocates argue shifting to a plant-based diet, a vegan diet, isn’t enough to stave off overpopulation, in light of the data showing the depletion of energy, food, fresh water, land space, raw materials and resources as well as the heavy contribution to air and water pollution, deforestization, and global warming caused by a meat-centered diet, how do abortion advocates — warning about overpopulation consuming the world’s resources — justify consuming animal products?

If vegetarianism were merely about “fit” or following a peculiar set of “dietary laws” why are pro-lifers offended by pro-choice vegetarians and pro-choice vegans? Clearly, they’re offended because they know vegetarianism involves the animals’ right to life, and thus these pro-choicers appear to value animal life over human life under some circumstances. And issues like animal experimentation, circuses, and fur have nothing to do with diet, eating, nor food, but do involve the animals’ right to life. Leonardo Da Vinci, Count Leo Tolstoy, Mohandas Gandhi, George Bernard Shaw, Susan B. Anthony, Percy Shelley, Rosa Parks, etc. were all vegetarian, and none of them were Jewish nor Muslim.

For Love of Animals: Christian Ethics, Consistent Action offers an introduction to animal rights ethics within Christianity alongside directly related sanctity-of-life issues, like the possible rights of unborn children. The book’s foreword is written by Mary Eberstadt, senior fellow with the Ethics and Public Policy Center in Washington, DC, a Catholic who identifies herself as “Pro-Animal, Pro-Life.”

Author Charles Camosy responds to criticisms from academicians Peter Singer and Lynn White, Jr., that the misinterpretation of “human dominion” (versus compassionate stewardship) is responsible for the current ecological crisis. Camosy indicates that Christianity cannot be blamed if humans with their imperfections distort their own religious teachings, that Christianity did not give rise to the industrial revolution, and that real Christianity — as it was meant to be practiced — is at odds with market-driven ethics and mass consumerism (a point made decades ago by liberal Protestant theologian Dr. Harvey Cox). Camosy concludes: “I became convinced that, if I wanted to be authentically and consistently pro-life, I should give up eating meat.” Dozens of books have been written on Christianity and animal rights. Camosy merely provides an overview of animal ethics in Christianity.

Steve Kaufman, head of the Christian Vegetarian Association, was raised Jewish, and is now serving in the United Church of Christ, America’s largest pro-choice Protestant denomination. Steve expressed interest in Democrats For Life, his only reservation was whether Democrats For Life favors criminalizing abortion. Some animal advocates and activists (like Catholic vegan columnist Colman McCarthy) oppose abortion, but don’t think criminalization is the answer.

In 2004, on the Democrats For Life email list, Maria Krasinski mentioned a poll which found animal activists evenly divided on abortion. This either indicates animal rights really are a bipartisan cause which conservatives can support alongside liberals, or it indicates many liberals are uncomfortable with abortion!

In 2014, Kristen Day of Democrats For Life said: “Roughly a third of the Democratic Party is pro-life. And while many do not call themselves liberal, they share the values which seem to identify with liberalism, particularly a commitment to helping the vulnerable and providing a social safety net.”

The Democratic Party platform should support: Animal Rights, Defending the Affordable Care Act, Ending Citizens United, Ending Marijuana Prohibition, Giving Greater Visibility to Pro-Life Democrats, Gun Control, Net Neutrality, Raising the Minimum Wage to $15 an Hour, Responding to the Scientific Consensus on Global Warming, and a Sustainable Energy Policy.

  5. A vegan diet can be totally healthy, but it is a challenge to get enough protein. Just like a typical meat eaters diet can be totally healthy, but it is a challenge to get enough healthy carbs and healthy fats. But you LOST THE ARGUMENT immediately when you bring in the LIE that AGW is not real.

  6. Love the comments by Linda M., vee, Tom and Jim P. in response to Lisa Coston and Vasu Murti regarding the vegan issue. All four were witty and accurate in response to the antics of the Leftists in the contemporary political climate. In general, they are vigorously attempting to uproot traditional values by substituting archaic and failed Marxists ideals. Every time I see Vasu Murti’s name posted with his lengthy rants it reminds me of Jack Nicholson’s character in The Shining where he retypes the same simple statement over and over.

    • David; Thanks for the compliment! And thank you for your post as well. It’s so truthful.
You know, I never saw the connection before, but you are so right about Vasu and the Jack Nicholson’s character from the Shining! Two slight differences though. Jack Nicholson’s character TYPED the same drivel over and over again. Where Vasu just cuts and paste’s his, over and over again. And two, I think Vasu gets paid for each word he posts by the DNC and makes more money than Jack did for the film!! LOL..
Vasu is like a deranged energizer bunny. You can’t stop him ! But we keep trying!!! And far as Lisa goes? Well let’s hope she took vee’s advice, went to eat a salad and will stay away…..

  7. Nutritionist “Nutty” Nancy Clark states it is easy for an athlete to do well on a Vegan diet, hmmm! I take it she is an expert in regards to RDA of nutrients force professional athlete especially a Professional Football player, next the insane woman will be claiming Power Lifters can sustain themselves on a Vegan diet as well.

    • markie laws; Several of us tried. They just won’t ban him. I just wish they would limit the amount of propaganda he is allowed to cut and paste on this Conservative web site though. It’s the same drivel over and over again…..

  8. – Newton, being the raving egomaniac that he is, probably didn’t bother hiring a nutritionist to coach him with his dietary needs.
All the physical tools, but without a brain from the neck up.
    Stick a fork in him…….

  9. There are simply some nutrients that are vital that are absorbed much better by the body through animal products; meat, eggs, dairy. If you choose not to be a natural omnivore (look at your teeth to see what I mean), especially without expert advice on how to make it up, your health will definitely suffer.

  10. First of all, blaming people for causing global warming is a hoax. Many years ago when in junior or senior high school, we were told that some time thousands of years ago, the Arctic ice cap expanded clear down in what is now central Canada and the Great Plains of the United States. Then, after a long period of time, the ice cap retreated to what is now the ice cap at the North Pole.

So tell me, how many trains were running thousands of years ago, since they didn’t start running until about the start of the 19th Century AD? How many factories, etc., were belching smoke and particles into the atmosphere thousands of years ago since the industrial revolution started about the 18th to 19th Century AD? How many automobiles were belching smoke into the atmosphere thousands of years ago, since they were not invented till around 1890 AD? How many airplanes were flying thousands of years ago, since they did not start flying until the early 1900’s? Other examples can be given.

So if the answer to the questions posed in the above paragraph are none, none, none, and none, I submit to you that man-caused global warming is a hoax.

Do not think I advocate a messed-up atmosphere. No one wants to inhale bad air, no matter who cut the fart, smokes cigarettes or cigars or joints. or who cuts down forests for fun or profit – people have to live in some kind of house, have farms to raise food and livestock, etc. Fortunately strides are being made to address these issues.

  11. Who cares? The NFL is dead! I haven’t watched a pro-game since kophucknick took a knee. I don’t need to watch paid felons on the field……look at their arrest sheets…..when even televised Friday night High School games are better…..the kids play with their hearts and not their wallets. And Sundays have once again become family day.

  12. I doubt Cam not eating meat has anything to do with him not healing, Not eating meat will only further his need to eat what the bull eats which means more grains, nuts, veggies and fruits in one’s diet. The body is a self-healing machine and as long as it doesn’t spend time digesting things like meat it will go into a healing state. Bill Walton was an NBA star and was not a meat-eater. Whatever nutcase thinks you have to eat meat to live needs to stop themselves. First off if they think that Nuclear is an answer to fossil, wait till they have to dispose of the waste. Then Solar, Battery backup to a solar field would be another where and how do we get rid of the batteries and the heat generated back into the atmosphere is another story. Plus they can’t generate what a fossil plant can. What I am saying is a balance of all of them is what is needed and as far as meat and Cam is BS. I have never had the flu or cold and have never missed work in years due to sickness. OH, I haven’t eaten Red Meat or Pork in 44 years and I was a Steeple Jack by trade which is a trade for strong people, not weaklings. My kids were raised the same some chicken and fish but my son was 6′ 2″ and Star BB player in hS and college and my daughter swam on a US swim team and swam 4 to 6,000 yards a day and became a US swim coach. When they went to college they started eating meat, now they are raising their own families and have discovered that eating meat isn’t healthy and are looking at me for advice because they do get sick with the flu and colds and good old Dad still hasn’t had one. Looking at Cam / Superman has come to the conclusion he doesn’t want to get hit anymore and wants to get out,
smart move. The new Green Deal is just more BS and will cost three times as much and cause twice as much harm to the atmosphere. What they need to do is stop clear-cutting the forest especially the RainForest and plant more trees

  13. Conservative or otherwise, let’s not behave like the liberals/progressives in our right to freedom of speech. We all have a right to express an opinion. Whether we believe or not, can we be mature about it & respectfull; let’s counter other’s opinion in an educated manner.
