Elon Musk may go down as one of the most controversial Saturday Night Live hosts in the show’s history.
Members of the SNL cast were given a “safe space” to stay during Musk’s appearance because some felt personally attacked.
Now, this comedian is calling out the woke outrage mob for the backlash against Elon Musk.
Comedian Dave Chappelle recently joined with Joe Rogan in speculating that the woke PC culture drove the early backlash to billionaire Elon Musk ahead of his guest-hosting gig on SNL.
Chappelle sat for a three-hour episode on Joe Rogan’s “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast and discussed Musk’s divisive arrival into the world of sketch comedy.
Rogan believes people felt Musk was problematic because of his comments downplaying the pandemic and his astronomical wealth.
“No one is woke enough. They don’t care, they can’t appreciate the fact that you’re dealing with literally one of the most brilliant men that’s ever lived that’s gonna come do your show,” Rogan stated.
Chappelle agreed with Rogan and added that he found the reaction to Musk “puzzling.”
“Again, like you say, no one can be woke enough,” Chappelle stated.
Chappelle added, “You’re not gonna nag people into behaving in a way that’s – in fact, if you continue with this tone, even if you’re right, you’ll be very hard to hear.”
According to Chappelle, Musk had been “incredibly kind” when he met him.
“I teased him about being the richest man in the world. He took it with good humor,” Chappelle told Rogan.
When NBC first announced that the billionaire car-tech-space mogul Elon Musk would serve as guest host for this week’s Saturday Night Live, the backlash was swift and severe.
Musk has been on the covers of liberal magazines like Rolling Stone and Vanity Fair and has even voiced an animated version of himself on the South Park Series, but SNL is where the woke outrage mob drew the line.
It seems a number of the woke leftists find Musk’s wealth offensive.
So much for their “you be you” and “you do you” mentality because apparently Musk being himself is not acceptable.
The Left has absolutely lost its mind, and Joe Rogan is correct in his statement that no one can be woke enough for them.
There is no telling who the mob’s next victim will be, but one thing is for sure it will be more outrageous than the last.
