The National Archives says these historic, founding documents contain “harmful language”

Everyone is offended by everything these days.

The Left has declared apple pie racist and if you dare tell them otherwise, they’ll cancel you.

And now the National Archives says these historic, founding documents contain “harmful language.”

The National Archives is an agency of the United States federal government.

It is tasked with the preservation and documentation of important historical and government records.

Americans can see exhibits of some of the most important documents in the country’s history at the National Archives building in Washington D.C .

However, it now appears that the bureaucrats at the National Archives tasked with preserving the central documents of our nation believe Americans are racists or otherwise incapable of recognizing and dealing with historical realities referenced in our founding documents.

Apparently they’re worried some Americans will be surprised and triggered by the fact that slavery existed at one point in our nation’s history.

Now, the National Archives Records Administration (NARA) has placed a “harmful content” warning on the Constitution, labeling the governing document of the United States as “harmful or difficult to view.”

The warning applies to all documents across the Archives’ cataloged website, including the Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence.

The statement on the website reads:

“The Catalog and web pages contain some content that may be harmful or difficult to view. NARA’s records span the history of the United States, and it is our charge to preserve and make available these historical records. As a result, some of the materials presented here may reflect outdated, biased, offensive, and possibly violent views and opinions. In addition, some of the materials may relate to violent or graphic events and are preserved for their historical significance.”

This isn’t the first time NARA has catered to a left-wing view of the United States’ history.

In June the “National Archives’ Racism Task Force” said the Archives’ rotunda, where founding documents are housed, is an example of “structural racism.”

The same task force also pushed to have trigger warnings displayed around the Constitution, Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence.

One tactic the communists use to take over a society is the changing if not erasing its history – we are witnessing this right now.

The radical left is slowly doing away with America’s history and replacing it with its own twisted ideology.
