Supreme Court ruling in favor of Planned Parenthood is their worst betrayal ever

97

Planned Parenthood is America’s leading abortionist.

They receive hundreds of millions of dollars of taxpayer funds every year.

And the Supreme Court just issued a ruling in favor of Planned Parenthood that is their worst betrayal ever.

The Center for Medical Progress is the organization that revealed Planned Parenthood for the sick people they are.

The group released a series of undercover videos exposing Planned Parenthood officials talking about selling parts of aborted babies.

Videos detailed doctors commenting on gruesome practices like trying not to “crush that part” of the baby because they’re “good at getting heart, lung, liver.”

One video even describes the harvesting or “procurement,” of organs from a nearly-intact late-term unborn baby aborted at Planned Parenthood.

Despite the evidence presented in the videos, the Center for Medical Progress is the one facing lawsuits – not Planned Parenthood.

Shortly after the video releases, Planned Parenthood filed lawsuits against the Center for Medical Progress.

In fact, former California Attorney General turned Senator and now Presidential candidate Kamala Harris is the one to formerly bring the charges.

Planned Parenthood claimed they committed federal conspiracy and wiretapping violations.

They also claimed the Center for Medical Progress violated California law by fraudulently gaining access to its facilities.

The Center for Medical Progress requested the Supreme Court toss out the claims made by Planned Parenthood.

Activist David Daleiden who leads the Center, argued they were exercising their First Amendment rights when they made and released the videos.

But the Supreme Court denied the request to throw out the charges brought against them by Planned Parenthood.

The decision is a huge blow to the organization’s efforts and a big win for the abortion-on-demand giant Planned Parenthood.

Abortion has become a huge topic in American politics with states like New York and Virginia fighting for policy initiatives like late-term abortion.

Trump has made it a point to paint the Democrat Party as the party of open borders, socialism, crime, and late-term abortions.

The fact that the murder of unborn children until the moment of birth is something a major political party is fighting for is beyond disturbing.

And the recent Supreme Court decision will only embolden organizations like Planned Parenthood and the politicians they control.

Do you think the Supreme Court’s decision is one of the biggest backstabs for pro-Life advocates?

Let us know in the comments.

  1. This is disgusting! The Court is suppose to protect the rights of American citizens. The babies are new American citizens, and are due extra protection because of their helplessness.

    • JIM……
      EXACTLY………THEY’RE MURDERERS……
Why didn’t and why don’t they ABORT their own kids……..as it stands now, BABIES CAN BE ‘ABORTED’ (MURDERED) EVEN AFTER THEY ARE BORN……….

These DEMON judges should all be put before a FIRING SQUAD and the BURNED AT THE STAKE for good measure…….totally DISGUSTING ……PIECES OF SHIDT……

      • Where does it say which Judge voted how ? Until it shows that don’t condemn any of them , even Ruth will surprise you once in a while !

        • Sounds like the 9th supreme court of California.
Kill the American babies but make the babies born with illegals citizens.
          Sounds like the plan

      • I believe you stated the greatest rationale against late term abortions as it opens up parents rights to kill living children up until their 21st birthday and the parents cannot be tried for murder!

        • Maybe I can answer that.. Jerry, Every medical book that is used in American Medical schools, and around the world state that life begins at conception. Such renowned medical experts over the last 100 years like Cecil, Harrison, Merck, Rudolph, Lister, Siegel, and others, all agree that a fetus is a living being. I am not saying they don’t believe in abortion, medical abortions have been around for decades, they are practiced in almost every hospital in this Country, even in Private religious hospitals, when the mothers life is in danger. or because of a necessary medical reason, and before you jump off with out thinking first, even Webster wrote “an unborn offspring of a mammal, in particular an unborn human baby more than eight weeks after conception.” , So this is what made Sharron smart.

    • The judges on the Supreme Court should hide in shame! Innocent unborn children need to be protected by all of us-not chopped up and sold. It’s worse than barbaric!!

    • I agree that we need to protect all and what I am reading makes me want to cry. I work at saving even the littlest of premature babies and comforting the parent who has delivered early and then to be slapped in the face by judicial people who are to be protecting “all ” citizens including the unborn is ludicrist

  2. So much for conservative judges on the Supreme Court. I don’t believe there is such a thing as a true conservative judge.

    • What’s going on here. Kavanaugh was to be a conservative which gave the Court a majority. I would like to see how all of them voted and their reasons why. We have the majority in the Supreme Court and we still can’t get anything done. During Trumps first 2 years we had both the House and Senate and we couldn’t get anything done especially the wall. When the Dems have the minority they manage to block everything conservatives want.

It’s time to take our country back by We The People. Politics has failed our Country.

      • It’s not the judges fault, the Center for Medical Progress knows just like all Americans know that they can NOT go under cover and film or tape someone’s conversation without first getting their permission even though how vile they are they still have Constitutional Rights. I don’t condone what they do and I always say the sick ass SOB’s at PPH need to be shut down no matter how it’s done but it is what it is. President Trump and the US Supreme Court can’t condone violations of someone’s rights.

          • Whistle blowers are people who work somewhere and report on wrongdoing. These people invaded a place and took illegal photos and then misrepresented them as fact when in reality they lied themselves.

In 2015, an anti-abortion organization named the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) released several videos that had been secretly recorded. Members of the CMP posed as representatives of a biotechnology company in order to gain access to both meetings with abortion providers and abortion facilities. The videos showed how abortion providers made fetal tissue available to researchers, although no problems were found with the legality of the process. All of the videos were found to be altered, according to analysis by Fusion GPS and its co-founder Glenn R. Simpson, a former investigative reporter for The Wall Street Journal. The CMP disputed this finding, attributing the alterations to the editing out of “bathroom breaks and waiting periods.” CMP had represented a longer version of the tapes as being “complete”, as well as a shorter, edited version. The analysis by Fusion GPS concluded that the longer version was also edited, with skips and missing footage, saying that “This analysis did not reveal widespread evidence of substantive video manipulation, but we did identify cuts, skips, missing tape, and changes in camera angle.”

        • Jeanne. I totally agree with you. They need to teach about birth control instead of murdering innocent babies. Other centers do, but Planned Parenthood wants to abort babies and sell baby parts. Heartbreaking and needs to be stopped.

      • DITTO!!! It’s time the right (especially since our wimpy/sissy men Rhino politicians won’t) take the left to task and quit cowering out of fear! Anybody regardless of ethnic background, political affiliation, etc., should support the unborn (from conception through birth) rights to life. There is no justification of ending a life (yes, it is a life as soon as that sperm infiltrates the egg) just because a woman or man could not (better yet … did not protect against the pregnancy due to their own selfish needs/lust) and uses abortion/murder to alleviate their responsibility. Unfortunately most of our judges and politicians are incompetent in their positions or we as a country wouldn’t be so morose about the future.

Note: TERM LIMITATIONS for all elected people (Politicians-from city, state, federal offices), Judges whether appointed or elected (city, state, federal,Supreme court)

Also, the electorate should start electing people other than “LAWYERS”. Lawyers are a major reason why “OUR” Gov. on all levels is so screwed up. People need to wise up and quit voting for a Party and start voting for a person (a person they have vetted/researched). People wonder why the country is so screwed up. Look in the mirror. It’s time to quit voting because someone is promising more entitlements!

  3. Birth Abortion thought: I wonder if the Supreme Court and the Democrats realize that if it’s OK to kill a baby in the womb and now after its born… then it’s OK for anyone, to kill anybody, at any time, for any reason.

  4. This is disgusting! Really? I think the Supreme court are baby killers. They don’t care about a baby being able to live!!

    • there is a simple solution, if they made abortion the law, that is their problem, murder is still the law and if they commit abortion, which is first degree murder, charge, arrest and convict them, make an example and then see how many more will follow suit.

first post this is not a duplicate

    • Please go back and read all the posts. This was NOT a decision on abortion, but on secretly filming people without them knowing about it. Would you like someone to invade your privacy? I think not. Abortion is another issue entirely.

  5. Since the article did not give the rationale behind the Supreme Court’s decision, or even what kind of “decision” it was, there is insufficient information with which to form a judgment.

    • The Supreme Court denied the request to throw out the charges, that’s all. The Supreme Court’s decision is NOT one of the biggest back stabs for pro-Life advocates? An over-statement.

  6. ABORTION AT ANY STAGE IS MURDER GOD NEVER SENDS ANY CREATION HALF WAY FINISHED HE SENDS A COMPLETE CREATED GEN 1:26 AND IF YOU REMEMBER ONE OF THE TEN COMMANDMENTS IS THOUGH SHALT NOT KILL GOD NEVER CHANGES HIS MIND

    • Actually it says shall not murder. Have any of you adopted the baby you saved or do you leave them in the care of the person who wanted to abort them?

  7. Why is there no law to prevent any organization receiving government funding from donating to any political organization or politician? Democrats would no longer benefit.

  8. This is disheartening! I fear America as we once knew it is gone! And getting worse every day. I dont know what is wrong with people today! It’s like they have all lost there minds! So Evil!!

    • “I fear America as we once knew it is gone! And getting worse every day.”

If you are that disgusted with the USA, why not leave?
I have been waiting 40+ years to say this, “If your heart is not in the USA, get your a…err…DONKEY out.
      Turnabout is SO sweet!

    • There is not and never will be the America we once knew… Satan is in control… It is all laid out in the Holy Scriptures if you care to read about it…

  9. Abortion is the work of the devil. Know that – unless they repent – God’s justice will be upon anyone who interferes with His plan.

  10. A fetus is not a baby. Viability is deemed to occur between 20 and 22 weeks. Roe v. Wade and the later case are the law and have been the law. Planned Parenthood provides extensive birth control and reproductive medical care to poor women. Those of you who call a 10 week old fetus a baby are living on delusions, and isn’t it amazing how not one of you cares to do anything in your own communities to help or care for all the millions of unwanted children. If you want every fetus to be born, then you are not willing to respect that women have a right to participate in their own bodies which is fundamentally unfair. Your refusal to respect equality shows me that you don’t appreciate equality or fairness for all, and your lack of respect in the face of your total failure to help living children is elitism.

    • Spoken like a true liberal and science denier. Those of you who claim a fetus is actually a body part is sadly lacking in knowledge. Your refusal to respect equality with the baby within shows me that you don’t appreciate equality or fairness for all. Your own words condemn you!

    • Equality means getting off the people’s tax dollars and paying for your own murder of your fetus. If an unborn fetus is not a living being, how can these same judges send people to prison when a pregnant woman is killed and her unborn fetus requires an additional charge of murder? Typical democrats. always want things their way and change the rules to accommodate them. WAKE UP! It will soon be too late.

    • If the “fetus” has a heartbeat, it’s a baby. A human heartbeat is a sure sign of a baby. A baby has a heartbeat. A group of developing cells does not.

    • So I guess under that definition when the pregnancy happens you can’t she we are having a baby until 20 weeks. WOW
what flavor koolade are you drinking

  11. The supreme Court has their hands tied. They rule on issues regarding the Constitution. There is NOTHING in the Constitution regarding abortion. The pro-abortion folks know that and utilize it to the fullest.

    • True. The definition of murder is a state matter. The Supreme Court never had the authority to decide Roe v. Wade. When it did, it violated the rights of states that are guaranteed by the Constitution. It also violated my rights. If I object to my state’s definition of murder, I can move to another state. If I object to the Federal government’s usurpation of my state’s rights, I have no recourse.

  12. when these videos first broke no one noticed. Now with states passing late-term horrors this story will be front and center. Dismissing the case would allow these atrocities 2vanish

  13. I have not seen the written decision yet and will do so soon! If this decision follows constitutional law then the court is doing its job!

  14. You may say I’m wrong but it may not be a bad thing. It wasn’t the information that the Court is ruling on it is ruling on how the information was gotten and they want it to follow the lower courts guide lines to go to trail. The Center for Medical Progress needs to make their point of all the horrid stuff Planned Parenthood has done and keep it in the news just like Planned Parenthood pushes their agenda. If it goes to court Planned parenthood isn’t going to be able to hide from what Center for Medical Progress has as they scream and holler it was gotten illegally. We the People will see even more how horrid Planned Parenthood is. There are enough Doctors and Nurses that already spoke out on the hill and will continue to speak up. It may take down The Center for Medical Progress but I believe it is also going to take down Planned Parenthood. Just my opinion just like the news media.

  15. The US Congress (Senate & House of Reps) needs to pass a bill recognizing an unborn baby is ALIVE and has ALL THE PROTECTIONS OF THE CONSTITUTION [the Roe v Wade decision stated that the Congress making that determination would CAUSE THE COLLAPSE OF THE ‘RIGHT TO ABORTION’ (which doesn’t exist, IMO)].

    • Not much chance of that. Would need 60 votes in Senate with a House majority. We have seen one but not the other. Saying you oppose abortion, but voting for Democrats is a contradiction.

  16. Did anybody read the story all they did was not throw out charges against the group that filmed them talking about selling body parts from abortions witch means that will go to court and the selling of aborted body parts has been outlawed I think but had nothing to do about abortions that’s the way I read it

  17. Man and woman created this baby and rely upon God to see that it is born healthy. Just because any man or woman or abortionist has any ABILITY to have it KILLED is SICK. GOD CERTAINLY WOULD NEVER STAND FOR THIS. SOMEONE WILL SUFFER AND THERE ARE MEANS. BE CAREFUL !

  18. MAN AND WOMAN CREATED THIS BABY AND RELY UPON GOD TO SEE THAT IT IS BORN HEALTHY. JUST BECAUSE ANY MAN OR WOMAN OBORTIONIST HAS ANY ABILITY TO HAVE IT KILLED IS SICK. GOD CERTAINLY WOULD NEVER STAND FOR THIS. SOMEONE WILL SUFFER AND THERE ARE MEANS, BECAREFU!

  19. What happened to the Conservative Judges on the Supreme Court? I can’t believe the way that they voted? They back Stabbed Trump and all of the True Conservatives..

  20. No, this wasn’t the worst back stabbing by the SCOUS! The WORST backstabbing was Roe vs. Wade.

In truth the SC decision has nothing to do with abortion. It has to do with Planned Parenthood claiming the Center for Medical Progress committed federal conspiracy and wiretapping violations. They have a Constitutional right to bring this action against Center for Medical Progress. Planned Parenthood will likely lose their suit.

The article is very poorly written. There is no information on the SC vote nor who voted for and against the right to sue Center for Medical Progress.

The way this was written makes it Faux news. As conservatives we should not put a false spin on the news as this CultureWatch article attempted to do.

  21. To profit from abortion is a sick enterprise; it really doesn’t matter what ruling the SC hands down. When it is more profitable to encourage people to kill a fetus than to raise a family, we have lost our civil society.

  22. It appears as though all of the “Pulpit Pounders” are busy talking about other meaningless issues. Such as the annual fundraiser for the air conditioner or Book sale. When was the last time you have ever heard a meaningful issue during a Homily?
The “Pulpit Pounders” are afraid they will lose their Tax Exemption….Their Thirty pieces of Silver if you will !
Let’s rattle their cage and insist on hearing Strong messages about Faith, Morals and To NEVER vote for anyone who professes Infanticide
God bless America God bless Israel

  23. The supreme court judgment (to me) seems to be on what constitutes first amendment rights, asking for suit claims to be tossed , and not about “abortion” AT ALL.
The article doesn’t really lend any help in explaining what the decision made was even about or why.
Just seemed (to me) like a rant piece meant to get folks worked up.
    – Seems it worked…

    • Cerberus>> I disagree with you on your 1st Amendment note, but seems like we both agree on the rant part. Appreciate your corroberation on that as noted in my earlier post!

  24. The supreme court is filled with silver spoon fed no common sense senile jackasses that should be abolished!

  25. This ruling shows Bozo and other leaders placed too many judges on the supreme court that are pro abortion. Even that level is loaded with politicians and activists thanks to past rino presidents and Bozo’s predecessor Slick Willie. Too bad we are so late to this party of the rinos and dem wits. But now we do know.

  26. Supreme court judges get your heads out of your asses, YOU THINK IT IS OK FOR THE DEMRATS AND RHINO REPUBLICANS TO COMMIT A FEDERAL CONSPIRACY AGAINST OUR PRESIDENT, THATS OK , WHEN THE PROOF CAME OUT THAT OUR PRESIDENT DID NOT COMMIT THOSE CRIMES. WHERE IS THE PROOF OF WIRE TAPPING< AND FEDERAL CONSPIRACY, WHERE IS A NON DISCLOSURE SIGNATURE STATING THEY CAN'T DISCUSS ANYTHING THAT GOES ON AT THE MURDER CENTER. CUDOS TO THE ONES WHO HELPED DISCLOSE THIS MURDER FOR HIRE ORGANIZATION, WE THE PEOPLE SHOULD NOT BE PAYING FOR THIS!!!!!!!

  27. It sounds like they think the baby is just like a wrecked car, just make sure it’s dead, strip off any good parts, sell the parts, and recycle the rest of it. What’s the problem, their will be lots more coming? …..Seems like nobody gives Gods will a second thought! I’d hate to be in their shoes when they meet their maker!

  28. Why doesn’t the article tell us which members of the Court are responsible for this travesty of justice? I would like to know if this is more the doing of Chief Justice Roberts. Whoever is responsible is worthy of our disdain.

  29. “Want to Stop Abortions?”: asks the June 1995 newsletter for the Colorado Peace Mission in Boulder, CO. “Make them unnecessary. Provide everyone with: A choice of whether to have sex… and with whom; Comprehensive sex education; Non-coercive family planning; Safe, affordable birth control; Open, honest talk about sex; Loving parents…”

In a 1991 article entitled “When No News is Bias,” Reverend James Burtchaell, a professor of theology at the University of Notre Dame, drew comparisons between civil disobedience directed against abortion clinics and “the far more controversial sit-ins and freedom marches of the 1960s, the raiding of draft board files in the 1970s, the denting of ICBM nose cones in the 1980s, the blockading of the South African Embassy in 1984…”

According to Reverend Burtchaell, these demonstrators had their rights violated: “A 72-year-old bishop in West Hartford, Connecticut, was seized, cuffed behind his back, then lifted from the ground by billy clubs between his wrists… 17 female college students had their clothes ripped off and were forced to walk in the nude, in some cases crawl.

“Some of them were sexually assaulted… arrested women were strip-searched and cavity searched; others were stripped to the waist and dragged through the jail by their bras with breasts exposed… prisoners in Atlanta were forbidden to pray together in jail…”

Reverend Burtchaell noted further that “whereas actor Martin Sheen was given three hours of community service for his 18th conviction for anti-nuclear protest, a first-time abortion protester in Fargo, North Dakota, was sent to prison for 21 months. Militant homosexuals who had invaded St. Patrick’s Cathedral and disrupted Mass were fined $100; the organizers of the New York and other pro-life protests have been fined $450,000.”

Anti-abortion clergy and protesters must be given the same level of respect (and equal time to air their views through the news media) given to animal rights activists, environmentalists, feminists, civil rights activists, anti-nuclear activists, anti-capital punishment activists, antiwar activists, “militant homosexuals,” etc.

In These Times, a progressive political newspaper in Chicago observed in the late 1980s: “Our reaction to scenes of anti-abortion activists engaging in civil disobedience outside of clinics is similar to that of many on the left: ‘What are THEY doing using OUR tactics? One major factor may be uncomfortable for many of us to admit: that many of them ARE us.’”

The Seamless Garment Network (SGN) is a coalition of peace and justice organizations on the religious left. Animal rights, like ecology, nuclear power, gun control, or the drug war, is a topic of serious discussion among SGN members. His Holiness the Dalai Lama has signed the SGN Mission Statement.

“We are committed to the protection of life, which is threatened in today’s world by war, abortion, poverty, racism, the arms race, the death penalty and euthanasia.

“We believe these issues are linked under a consistent ethic of life. We challenge those working on all or some of these issues to maintain a cooperative spirit of peace, reconciliation, and respect in protecting the unprotected.”

Carol Crossed, then Executive Director of the SGN, wrote in 1994:

“In the last 27 years, I have engaged in civil disobedience and risked arrest in over twenty demonstrations around issues as varied as civil rights in Washington, D.C.; anti-Vietnam War actions; and sleeping outside the City Hall in Rochester, NY to call attention to the plight of the homeless. Most recently, I was arrested in opposition to the Gulf War. Five of these arrests were in opposition to aborting children. Rescues are not a monolithic expression by a single group. Many participants, even leaders, are feminists, Quakers, and Pacifists from Catholic Worker communities.”

On January 21, 1994, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled unanimously that the sanctions of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) could be applied to anti-abortion protesters.

According to Carol Crossed, “It is an inescapable fact that activists today engage in acts of civil disobedience remarkably similar to some of the acts of pro-life protesters which NOW (the National Organization for Women) would like to transform into federal felons…

“Environmentalists chain themselves to trees; plowshares activists damage warheads; and animal rights activists sit in at stockyard feed lots. A current bill (HR 1815) called ‘Hunter Harassment’ is under consideration which would not only criminalize actions against hunters—assaults, seizing guns, blocking entrances to hunting grounds, etc.—but speech directed at hunters as well.

“A Washington Post editorial ‘Shouting and Shooting’ (12/3/93) says, ‘The point of picketing, protests, demonstrations and boycotts is to make people who are targets so uncomfortable that they will change their politics or behavior. So it is with the opponents of hunting, as it has been with civil rights, labor unions and abortion protesters.’”

When the RICO decision was issued, Carol Crossed saw it as a threat to the whole range of nonviolent protest, and warned others of the threat that the RICO decision posed to all forms of nonviolent protest and peaceful dissent.

Signers of a newspaper ad protesting the decision included Erwin Knoll, editor of The Progressive; Daniel Berrigan, SJ; Philip Berrigan; Liz McAlister; Leonard Peltier, American Indian Movement; Joseph Lowery, President of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference; civil rights leader Will Campbell; environmentalist Wendell Berry and others.

Organizations signing included the International Black Women’s Network; the Fund for Animals; Koininea Partners; People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA); Sojourners and others.

Mary Rider, a *practicing* Catholic (arrested for protesting both the death penalty and abortion — when I first met her in 2002, she was pregnant with her eighth child!) and Executive Director of the SGN, wrote in Harmony: Voices for a Just Future in 2002:

“So we teach our children to walk softly on the earth and to embrace nonviolence as the only legitimate means of conflict resolution, on both a personal and a global level.

“We are aware of the excessive, privileged life we lead as educated, first world U.S. citizens and of the responsibilities to which our privilege calls us. We try to live simply. We eat low on the food chain. We try to buy nothing new…

“We try to respect all life and carry that message forward in all we do… Because we value people and relationships over things… First world consumption kills people around the world…

“Pollution, environmental devastation, corrupt governments, war, sweatshops… all are a are a result of our desire to buy more at a lower price…

“We believe each person has a right to live a valued and respected life free from hunger and discrimination…”

How is the political left “shutting down free speech” when the right refuses to give fair and balanced coverage of animal issues, and discriminates against animal advocates on the basis of religious identity (like pro-lifers faced in past decades)?

David Daleiden is a hero to conservatives for his undercover investigations of Planned Parenthood trafficking in unborn human body parts, but these same conservatives are trying to pass “Ag-gag” legislation to prevent animal activists from doing likewise on factory farms, fur farms, circuses, rodeos, animal experimentation, etc.

I had the opportunity to meet David Daleiden at a Respect Life Conference in 2006, when he was still In high school. I sent him a copy of The Liberal Case Against Abortion, They Shall Not Hurt or Destroy, and The Politics of Vegetarianism.

You’d think the unborn-right-to-lifers would immediately understand the animal-right-to-lifers, and not deride animal rights!

  30. The Supreme Court has made Planned Parenthood a legal murder corporation!
I haven’t read the court’s ruling but I sure would like to know how they voted individually.

  31. So, now the Supreme Court is siding with the baby killers. Do you suppose the Supremes understand they have just about made themselves, individually, and the Court as a whole, complicit in taking the lives of viable – and potentially viable – human beings who will never get to exercise the rights afforded to them by the Constitution. You Justices are messing with the Creator of the Universe…and He doesn’t take kindly to baby-killing.

  32. This is an evil ruling and against the rights of all babies- They are humans with constitional rights and protections.

  33. there is a simple solution, if they made abortion the law, that is their problem, murder is still the law and if they commit abortion, which is first degree murder, charge, arrest and convict them, make an example and then see how many more will follow suit.
again this not a duplicate, this must be a lib site
first post this is not a duplicate

  34. LATE TERM ABORTIONS – I wonder how much more that Planned Parenthood can get from body parts of late term births than they can get from earlier abortions.

  35. Every woman has the right to decide what is right for them. You are all missing the point when you speak of adoption instead of abortion. The point is…the woman does not wish to be pregnant and since there is not a foolproof way to avoid it, pregnancy happens. When I found myself pregnant during the worst possible time of my life to have a child, including the nine months of physical discomfort and horror, abortion was my only option. No one has the right to tell me that this was wrong, or murder; this was only the beginning of a small growth on an egg. THIS WAS MY RIGHT, AND THE RIGHT OF ANY WOMAN IN THE POSITION OF WANTING OR NEEDING THIS PROCEDURE. THE SUPREME COURT SAID SO IN ROE vs WADE.

  36. The ancient eastern reincarnationist religions Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism all predate Christianity, all teach ahimsa, or nonviolence towards humans and animals alike to the point of vegetarianism, all are vegan-friendly, all oppose abortion, and all teach that abortion and war are the karma for killing animals, and that therefore, we cannot end abortion nor have peace on earth until first we abolish the killing of animals.

“The vegetarian movement,” wrote Count Leo Tolstoy, “ought to fill with gladness the souls of all those who have at their heart the realization of God’s kingdom on earth.”

Vegetarianism is at the heart of Christianity. Jesus insisted upon the moral standards given by God in the beginning (Matthew 5:31-32, 19:3-9; Mark 10:2-12; Luke 16:18), and this did not go unnoticed by the early church fathers.

St. Basil (AD 320-79) taught, “The steam of meat darkens the light of the spirit. One can hardly have virtue if one enjoys meat meals and feasts… In the earthly paradise, there was no wine, no one sacrificed animals, and no one ate meat. Wine was only invented after the Deluge… With simple living, well being increases in the household, animals are in safety, there is no shedding of blood, nor putting animals to death. The knife of the cook is needless, for the table is spread only with the fruits that nature gives, and with them they are content.”

“Holy people are most loving and gentle in their dealings with their fellows, and even with the lower animals: for this reason it was said that ‘A righteous man is merciful to the life of his beast,’” explained St. John Chrysostom (AD 347-407). “Surely we ought to show kindness and gentleness to animals for many reasons and chiefly because they are of the same origin as ourselves.”

Writing about the Christian saints and ascetics, Chrysostom said: “No streams of blood are among them; no butchering and cutting of flesh… With their repast of fruits and vegetables even angels from heaven, as they behold it, are delighted and pleased.”

Chrysostom considered flesh-eating a cruel and unnatural habit for Christians: “We imitate the ways of wolves, the ways of leopards, or rather we are worse than these. For nature has assigned that they should be thus fed, but us God hath honored with speech and a sense of equity, yet we are worse than the wild beasts.”

In a homily on Matthew 22:1-4, Chrysostom taught: “We the Christian leaders practice abstinence from the flesh of animals to subdue our bodies… the unnatural eating of flesh-meat is of demonical origin… the eating of flesh is polluting.” He added that “flesh-meats and wine serve as materials for sensuality, and are a source of danger, sorrow, and disease.” And St. John Chrysostom recommended the “prayerful invocation of the name of God,” which he said should be “uninterrupted.” (I Thessalonians 5:17)

Reverend Marc Wessels of the International Network for Religion and Animals (INRA) writes: “The most important teaching which Jesus shared was the need for people to love God with their whole self and to love their neighbor as they loved themselves. Jesus expanded the concept of neighbor to include those who were normally excluded, and it is therefore not too farfetched for us to consider the animals as our neighbors.

“To think about animals as our brothers and sisters is not a new or radical idea. By extending the idea of neighbor, the love of neighbor includes love of, compassion for, and advocacy of animals. There are many historical examples of Christians who thought along those lines, besides the familiar illustration of St. Francis. An abbreviated listing of some of those individuals worthy of study and emulation includes Saint Blaise, Saint Comgall, Saint Cuthbert, Saint Gerasimus, Saint Giles, and Saint Jerome, to name but a few.”

And in School of Compassion, Deborah M. Jones engages with the Catholic Church’s contemporary attitude towards animals. Deborah M. 37. Any organization including United Way should be boycotted if theh support planned parenthood. I was told once that I could donate to other groups instead of planned par ed method but I told them as long as they have anything to do with planned parenthood they would never get a penny from me. And these Supreme Court justices that voted in favor of PP are worthless pricks.

  38. As a matter of fact I am going to buy that new movie Unplanned when it comes out and plan on showing it to as many teens as possible so they can truly see the satanic planned parenthood for what they really are.

  39. It only takes 5 judges to have the majority. There r nine judges I would bet not all nine voted for this disgusting decision. My guess is Justice John Roberts sided with the Liberal judges.I could be wrong but he has proven to be more liberal than Pres. Bush would have hoped for!

  40. This happens all the time where an early motion to dismiss is deemed by the Court as not ripe for appeal. that doesn’t mean it won’t be heard later so don’t get too exercised.

  41. Think a minute. Why would anyone want to kill preborn American citizen babies, but give birthright citizenship to babies born to illegals who make it across the border?

  42. The Supreme Court is suppose to protect all life. My God, DO YOUR JOB!!!!! I would like to know which Justices (that’s a joke) that voted this through???? They should be charged with premeditated manslaughter at least and serve time!

  43. take each senator, state representative and judge from Supreme court to the movie “UNPLANNED” and see if their ideas get a make-over
