Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is trying to buy the 2020 election.
He’s committed to spending $1 billion in order to defeat Donald Trump.
But Bloomberg just got torched for the horrific Super Bowl ad he ran.
While most of the Democrats in the primary field are trying to outpace each other as they run to the hard Left, billionaire Michael Bloomberg is trying to carve a niche in the so-called moderate lane.
While Bloomberg may be friendlier to business, he’s as radical as they come on the topic of gun control.
Bloomberg has spent countless millions spreading lies and misinformation about gun statistics in order to disarm populations and deprive them of their Second Amendment rights.
Bloomberg was up to his old tricks when he dumped $10 million into a Super Bowl ad pushing gun control.
But gun rights advocates were quick to debunk falsehoods in the Super Bowl spot.
The ad said 2,887 children are killed every year by guns, however, that number includes 18 and 19-year-olds.
Without those adult figures, the number drops down to 1,499.
And according to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), nearly 40% of those deaths were the cause of suicide, so Bloomberg’s numbers are wildly misleading.
Gun rights advocates have also spoken up to share their personal stories in response to Bloomberg’s ad.
The NRA cut a promo, and pro-gun proponents piled on.
One Second Amendment defender named Ashley said in the video, “As the mother of a three-year-old little boy, my family means everything to me. As a woman, I believe that the best way to protect my family is with a firearm. And Michael Bloomberg will never take that right away from me. I’m the gun lobby and I am not afraid of Michael Bloomberg. Mike, come and take it.”
Bloomberg and other gun-grabbers rely on misinformation and scare tactics to take away people’s rights.
A disarmed population is much easier to control, and that’s exactly how the Left wants it.
Not only is Bloomberg staunchly anti-gun, he’s shown willful ignorance on the subject.
In one infamous interview, he argued that hunters only need one or two bullets, among many other foolish comments.
Bloomberg is a zealot on the issue of control, and a dangerous one at that.
Will Bloomberg’s lies on guns be effective?
