Mark Cuban has put himself out there as a champion for human rights.
Cuban consistently claims he is an advocate for Black Lives Matter and gay rights.
But listeners were in shock when Mark Cuban threw his support behind Communist China.
Mark Cuban, best known as billionaire owner of the Dallas Mavericks, has always been vocal about political views.
He personally sees himself as an advocate for human rights.
Cuban is even a self-proclaimed advocate for Black Lives Matter.
And, as an advocate for Black Lives Matter, he recently supported the idea of doing away with the NBA’s rule that players must stand for the national anthem.
Cuban claimed, “We all said that pledge growing up in the United States. And going back to it, liberty and justice for all. That’s what this flag is supposed to be for all of us. And so when people kneel, when people stand up and protest, it’s specifically what we pledged to do our entire lives at school.”
Well, now his voice as a champion for human rights is missing in action.
China, one of the biggests violators of human rights, is one of the NBA’s biggest business partners.
And while on The Megyn Kelly Show, Mark Cuban was confronted about China’s human rights violations.
Cuban claimed that he is “comfortable” with doing business with China.
The Mavericks owner roared at Kelly, saying, “They are a customer of ours, and guess what, Megyn? I’m OK with doing business with China. And so we have to pick our battles. I wish we could solve all the world’s problems. But we can’t.”
Cuban continued, “I personally put a priority on domestic issues. I’m against human rights violations around the world. China is not the only country with human rights violations.”
China is known for having modern day concentration camps for its undesirable parts of its population and Cuban doesn’t care at all.
So it’s clear that Mark Cuban cares more raking in dollars than about human rights.
