Few things make leftists happier than a degradation of true Christianity.

They attack it from the podiums, the television sets, and the movie theater.

But this latest attack on a classic children’s cartoon was a bridge too far.

Liberal academia has just decried VeggieTales as racist.

They say it portrays so-called “vegetables of color” as the villains.

This was part of a “Whiteness Forum” at California State University San Marcos that sought to take a “critical look at whiteness” according to The College Fix.

The College Fix reports:

Another project suggested that the children’s Christian television show, “VeggieTales,” perpetuates racial stereotypes. A female student who worked on the project said in an interview that the accents of the evil characters tend to sound ethnic, such as Latino, while the good characters sound white.

“When kids see the good white character triumph over the bad person of color character they are taught that white is right and minorities are the source of evil,” the project stated.

A student in Pindi’s class who attended the event for the extra credit also told The College Fix that he felt the forum accomplished just the opposite of promoting the notion of equality for all.

“I feel like the university system [leaders] are a bunch of hypocrites, they’re talking about stopping racism and promoting equality for all, yet they have no problem bashing white people,” the student said, adding he is half-Mexican.

But there’s one problem with this: the show actually teaches children to love others no matter how they look.

In an episode spin-off of The Grapes of Wrath titled “God Wants Me to Forgive Them!?” Junior Asparagus, a lovable, relatable character, is made fun of for looking different by a group of peas.

Junior’s character has an “afro” and is a different vegetable than them.

Junior’s father then came out and put the peas in their place by explaining to them that making fun of people who look different than you is wrong.

The daughter of the peas then ended up apologizing to Junior for her actions when she realized it was wrong.

VeggieTales is arguably the most successful Christian TV franchise.

The show’s entire premise surrounds the unconditional love of God and an emphasis on loving and accepting people who are different from you without compromising your values and integrity.

And it was a staple for millions of Christian children and taught them the value of love and friendship, values they hold to this day.

What Planned Parenthood’s new president just compared abortion to will make your blood boil

Planned Parenthood makes a living off abortions.

And they have been trying to normalize abortion since their founding.

But what their new President just said about abortion will boil your blood.

Planned Parenthood’s new president, Dr. Leana Wen, M.D., just took abortion rhetoric to a whole new low in a phone interview with the liberal thinktank ThinkProgress.

She compared getting an abortion to a diabetic receiving insulin:

“Take the gag rule [a proposed, federal policy prohibiting clinics from providing comprehensive pregnancy options, counseling, or abortion referrals, even at the request of the patient],” Wen said. “How much outrage would there be if this were diabetes care and doctors now can’t tell patients anything about insulin? Right? We just cannot fathom that might happen.”

She also called abortion a basic health service:

“My ability as a doctor is limited unless I can fight for my patients when they are denied the right to their basic services,”

Planned Parenthood’s new president is the result of a sickening new propaganda campaign.

The previous president, Cecil Richards, was a politico who sought to keep Planned Parenthood in bed with the government.

The new president’s goal is to make abortion seem like a perfectly natural medical choice through an appeal to authority ploy.

Planned Parenthood wants people to accept abortion as normal because a medical doctor is supporting it.

The liberal think-tank ThinkProgress asserts:

On Thursday, Wen, Planned Parenthood’s new president, announced the organization’s new way forward, affirming an obvious truth that bears repeating: reproductive health care — like contraception, abortion, or comprehensive sex education — is health care, period.

“Our narrative on choice is incomplete without recognizing choice is predicated on privilege and it’s all of our responsibilities to fight against systemic injustices that have gotten us to where we are,” she told ThinkProgress.

Planned Parenthood’s new president is pushing propaganda that abortion is a “basic health service.”

That stance on murder has accounted for over 60 million abortions since Roe v. Wade.

And Planned Parenthood is America’s number one abortion vendor, committing over 320,000 abortions each year.

Planned Parenthood wants people to think getting an abortion is no different than getting insulin.

But taking insulin does not murder an innocent human being.

Popular Christian music artist just went on the radio and made one outrageous claim about the Bible

So-called “progressives” are invading Christian circles left and right.

And “Christians” are giving into their demands regardless of what the Bible says.

And what this Christian music artist said about the Bible will infuriate you.

Lauren Daigle, the Christian music artist behind the popular songs “You Say” and “Trust in You,” has reached new levels of mainstream success.

She even recently appeared on Ellen DeGeneres’ show to perform for millions on live TV.

However, she seems to be departing from her Christian roots.

In a recent interview she was asked if she thought homosexuality is a sin, to which she responded she couldn’t “honestly answer that.”

Popular contemporary Christian music (CCM) artist Lauren Daigle said this week on the “Domenick Nati Show” that she can’t answer whether homosexuality is a sin because there are people that she loves that are homosexual and she is not God. She noted that people should read the Bible to find out for themselves, and let her know what they learn.

“Do you feel that homosexuality is a sin?” Nati, whose broadcast is aired on iHeart Radio, asked forthrightly.

“You know, I can’t honestly answer on that, in the sense of I have too many people that I love—that they are homosexuals,” Daigle, known for the hits “How Can It Be” and “You Say,” told the celebrity publicist.

“I don’t know. I actually had a conversation with someone last night about it. I can’t say one way or the other. I’m not God,” she continued. “So, when people ask questions like that, that’s what my go to is. Like, I just say, ‘Read the Bible and find out for yourself. And when you find out, let me know because I’m learning too.’”

Lauren Daigle has either never read the Bible, or is just playing ignorant to appease the masses.

1 Corinthians 6:9 clearly states “Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor the idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality.”

Unfortunately, this is nothing new for her sect of Christianity.

Carl Lentz of Hillsong NY was on Oprah’s show in 2017 when he told millions to “live to their own convictions” when asked if abortion is sinful.

These “hip” and “mainstream” Christians are just shelving the wisdom and truth of the Bible in favor personal fame and wealth.

And they are kowtowing to the demands of the radical Left so they can enjoy mainstream success.

Pro-Sharia Congresswoman Ilhan Omar just attacked Donald Trump in the worst way

Newly elected Rep. Ilhan Omar stepped in it again.

She recently made headlines for pushing to remove a century-old headwear rule so she can wear her hijab in Congress in accordance with Sharia Law.

But now she’s blaming Donald Trump for the unthinkable.

Omar just claimed Trump is responsible for an increased number of hate crimes in America.

But there are several major holes.

First, Donald Trump has never committed a so-called “hate crime.”

Second, Leftists have expanded the definition so that almost everything can be construed as a “hate crime” now.

Finally, many high-profile “hate crime” incidents that have been circulated by the media have turn out to be nothing more than fake news.

In her Op-Ed for the Minnesota Star Tribune she said:

The culture of intolerance spread by President Donald Trump has clearly emboldened racist individuals to acts of violence.

One statistic from the report stands out: Attacks against Jewish people accounted for an astonishing 58.1 percent of anti-religious bias crimes, a drastic 37 percent jump. In fact, anti-Jewish crimes have composed the majority of religion-based acts ever since the FBI began publishing national figures.

But even without formal statistics laid out before us, we know that our world can be dangerous and divisive. That fact was painfully illustrated just last month when a far-right shooter opened fire inside a Pittsburgh synagogue, murdering 11 Jewish worshipers.

Acts of hate like that have no place in America. We cannot allow those who seek to divide us to intimidate or demoralize our society. I believe that, as the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. said, the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice. I know that with action and effort, love will prevail and hate will be defeated.

She essentially labels Donald Trump anti-semitic.

But President Trump’s own daughter married Jared Kushner and converted to Judaism.

Meanwhile, Ilhan Omar condemned Israel for “evil doings.”

In the same tweet she showed support for Gaza and Palestine, two notoriously anti-Jewish territories in the Middle East.

And at the same time she supports some of the most hateful organizations in existence.

Christian business owners could be facing jail time over this absurd city ordinance

LGBT activists are still sore after the Supreme Court’s ruling on the Colorado cake baker didn’t go their way.

So they’re fighting back.

And an ordinance in this major city could send Christian business owners to jail.

Phoenix, Arizona passed a so-called “anti-discrimination” city ordinance that forces wedding vendors to cater to homosexual weddings.

Now, two Christian business owners are pre-emptively challenging the ordinance on First Amendment grounds.

Joanna Duka and Breanna Koski of Brush & Nib Studio are working with the Alliance Defending Freedom to ensure no one is imprisoned simply for carrying out their business in accordance of their religious beliefs.

Fox News reports:

Their attorney, Kristen Waggoner, said they could be sentenced to six months in jail for every day they break the new law, plus the ensuing civil penalties and fees.

“Americans shouldn’t have to wait to be thrown in jail before they can challenge an unjust law,” said Waggoner, who noted that the women are preemptively challenging the law to avoid breaking it in the future.

Duka said that she and Koski “want to create [art] consistent with who we are, so we decided to bring this case.”

Waggoner said the two do not want to be “banished from the marketplace” because they don’t share “the government’s view.”

This isn’t the first time state governments have threatened Christians who don’t cater to homosexual weddings with jail time.

As we reported, Christian wedding vendors in Minnesota were threatened with jail time for refusing to videotape a homosexual wedding.

The Arizona Supreme Court will be hearing the Brush & Nib Studio case in January.

A case could be heading to the Supreme Court that could doom transgender bathrooms

LGBT activists flipped their lid when states enacted bathroom bills saying people can only use bathrooms corresponding with their biological sex.

So they went to the courts to impose their will.

But that is about to backfire on them in a big way.

Students in Boyertown, Pennsylvania are suing the school district for allowing so-called “transgender” students to use whatever bathroom they choose.

The students say kowtowing to anyone who claims to be the opposite sex could become very dangerous.

Now the case could be heading to the U.S. Supreme Court.

The Daily Beast reports:

The lawsuit, filed on behalf of cisgender students at Boyertown Area High School who oppose the school’s trans-inclusive policy, has already failed before the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, which ruled in favor of the school district this June.

But as The Morning Call reported Tuesday, conservative legal group Alliance Defending Freedom filed a petition this week asking the Supreme Court to review the Third Circuit ruling, arguing that the case would be “an ideal vehicle for this Court to address whether school locker room and restroom policies like Boyertown’s are constitutional.”

Simply put, they want the Supreme Court to weigh in on bathrooms, once and for all.

If the Supreme Court grants the review, hears the case, and issues a ruling, it would mark the first time that the judicial body has touched on transgender rights.

LGBT activists want people to use whichever bathroom they “feel” like on any given day.

They believe in an infinite amount of genders that have no basis in biology, anatomy or physiology.

And they’re targeting children with their despicable views.

Plus their bathroom policy is dangerous.

As we reported, a five year old girl was sexually assaulted by a male classmate in the girls’ bathroom at a school that allowed students to choose which bathroom they wanted to use.

Feminists are rewriting the Bible and their changes will shock you

Feminists want to completely rewrite the history books.

Christianity is taking the brunt of their attacks for its traditional values.

And what these feminists are doing to the Bible will infuriate you.

A group of feminists have decided to rewrite sections of the Bible and publish what they call “The Women’s Bible.”

They say the Women’s Bible “reinterprets the patriarchal parts of the Bible of the holy text, like St. Paul’s command for wives to submit to their husbands.”

The Daily Wire writes:

According to Agence France-Presse, a group of feminist theologians from both Protestant and Catholic backgrounds joined together for the creation of “A Women’s Bible,” which essentially reinterprets the patriarchal parts of the holy text, like St. Paul’s command for wives to submit to their husbands, in favor of an egalitarian theology that emancipates women. It is a collection of essays and commentary, not an edited bible.

“Tired of seeing their holy texts used to justify the subjugation of women, a group of feminist theologians from across the Protestant-Catholic divide have joined forces to draft “A Women’s Bible,'” reports AFP. “While many feminists have called for The Bible, Christianity, and religion altogether to be cast aside, an eclectic group of theologians instead insists that if interpreted properly, the Good Book can be a tool for promoting women’s emancipation.”

Lauriane Savoy, one of two Geneva theology professors behind “A Women’s Bible” (“Une Bible des Femmes”), said she pushed for the book because “feminist values and reading the Bible are not incompatible.” She created it alongside her colleague, Elisabeth Parmentier, in an effort to help people understand the proper understanding of the biblical texts. Eighteen other female theologians contributed to the text in varying degrees.

This is yet another example of how feminists will downright lie for their political benefit.

They think Paul’s writings indicate that he values women less than men.

But that could not be further from the truth.

Paul acknowledges that there are differences between the genders because God made them differently.

And to rewrite sections of the Bible simply because you don’t like them, is blasphemous.

2 Timothy 3:16 says “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine and reproof…”

Feminists’ hubris is so out-of-control, they think they can re-write God’s word.

And as Phyllis Schlafly once said “Feminism is doomed to failure because it is based on an attempt to repeal and restructure human nature.”

Radical atheists have twisted the First Amendment.

They say it supports “separation of church and state” even though that is nowhere to be found in the Constitution.

On an Illinois courthouse lawn, a “secular nativity scene” was put up by the Freedom From Religion Foundation.

The scene by the FFRF depicts Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson and George Washington watching the Bill of Rights in a manger.

This comes after the atheist group threatened a lawsuit with the county back in 2013, demanding that they take down the Christian nativity scene.

An atheist group has placed a secular nativity scene honoring the “baby Bill of Rights” on an Illinois courthouse lawn to counter the traditional Jesus-centered nativity scene.

The secular scene, sponsored by the Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF), shows cutouts depicting Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson and George Washington “gazing adoringly” at the “baby” Bill of Rights in a manger, according to a news release from the organization. The Statue of Liberty is part of the display, too.

A sign accompanying the display reads, “Happy Winter Solstice. At this Season of the Winter Solstice, we honor reason and the Bill of Rights (adopted Dec. 15, 1791).” The bottom of the sign reads, “Keep State & Church Separate.”

The sign was placed on the Grundy County Courthouse lawn by FFRF members, three years after the county made the space available to other religions and non-religions. FFRF sent a letter to the county in 2013, threatening a lawsuit if the traditional nativity — with the baby Jesus — either wasn’t removed or was paired with other displays. The nativity is owned by the Morris Ministerial Association, according to the Morris Herald News. The secular scene was placed on the lawn in past years, too.

The FFRF says the display “exemplifies the take-charge spirit of members of the freethought organization.”

They don’t care about protecting the “freedoms” for all Americans like they claim.

This is how they wage war with the people they can’t stand the most: Christians.

They threaten and fear monger Christians until they get their way.

They specifically target and threaten Christian conservatives hoping to see the day Christianity is persecuted into extinction.

Fixer Upper stars Chip and Joanna Gaines just made a move the media will hate

Chip and Joanna Gaines have been smeared by the leftwing media.

They hate the fact that the Gaines’ show Fixer Upper is such a hit and they’re unashamed of their Christian beliefs.

And Chip and Joanna just enraged the haters with their latest move.

For nearly three decades, the homeless in Waco, Texas have been served by the Church Under the Bridge – a small congregation that meets below Interstate 35.

But construction on I-35, which runs through the heart of Waco, could leave the Church Under the Bridge without a home.

That’s when Waco residents Chip and Joanna Gaines stepped up.

The Gaines’ offered the Church to use the lawn of their business, Magnolia Market at the Silos, for free.

Word & Way reports:

After the Waco Tribune-Herald reported on the church’s plight, Dorrell got a call from one of this city’s most famous residents: Chip Gaines, who with his wife, Joanna, starred in the HGTV home-improvement reality series “Fixer Upper.”

Gaines offered the lawn of Magnolia Market at the Silos — the couple’s popular tourist destination, which drew an estimated 1.6 million visitors to Waco last year — as a temporary home for Church Under the Bridge.

The attraction, which is closed on Sundays, is about four blocks from the bridge.

“I’ve known about Jimmy and the way he’s been selflessly serving this community for a while, since back when I was in college,” Chip Gaines, a Baylor alumnus, told Religion News Service in an emailed statement. “A few months ago, I read about how the I-35 project would impact his church, so we reached out to discuss his options and ultimately, to see if there was a way we might be able to help.

“I’ve always admired Jimmy from afar, so when we both agreed that the location of the Silos made sense for Church Under the Bridge, I knew we wanted to be part of the solution for this congregation,” Gaines added.

It’s a safe place for the congregation to gather and worship God together.

The Magnolia Market is closed on Sundays and located just a few blocks from where the Church Under the Bridge currently meets.

And after this story broke, the Gaines announced they were making a donation to The Cove for Giving Tuesday.

The Cove is an organization that serves the homeless youth of Waco.

They did not announce the total amount, but The Cove says it’s the largest gift they’ve ever received.

The Gaines’ generosity will allow The Cove to provide emergency housing for children.

Leftists hate nothing more than when Christians lead by example as our brother’s keeper.

They’d rather have everyone stuck on the government dole.
