Kathie Lee Gifford just shared an inspirational message everyone needs to hear

NBC Today show host Kathie Lee Gifford recently appeared on The Billy Hallowell Podcast.

There she recalled talking with Megyn Kelly after Evangelist Billy Graham died.

And the inspirational message she shared is one everyone needs to hear.

Kathie Lee Gifford was close to Evangelist Billy Graham.

She was saved after watching a film called, “The Restless One,” a faith-based film that featured the famous evangelist.

So when Billy Graham passed away, Megyn Kelly interviewed Kathie Lee Gifford about him.

Christian Headlines reports:

[Gifford] recalled that Kelly had asked her how she could be so bold in her faith in the entertainment industry, to which Gifford replied, “If I had the cure for cancer, I knew what it was — would I ever withhold it from anybody, much less somebody who’s suffering from cancer? Never!”

She continued, “I feel like I have the cure for the malignancy of the soul and he has a name — and it’s Jesus and I have to share when I’m given a chance because I don’t want people to not know the freedom they can have in Him.”

Gifford said, “We all have malignancies of our soul… we’re looking for love in all the wrong places, aren’t we? Instead of the very source of love himself. The one who died so we could know love, true love.”

Gifford is certainly unapologetic in sharing her faith.

But it’s because she truly wants everyone else to share in what she’s experiencing.

Before ending the interview, Gifford teased a new movie she wrote for her two friends, Craig Ferguson and Ricky Gervais.

While she noted it’s the first major project she’s done that’s not faith-based, she says it’s “really transformed” her.

She then shared a story about Ferguson asking why she “loved him” and Gervais, given that he’s agnostic and Gervais is an atheist. “We’re not good people,” he said.

Gifford explained, “I love you because Jesus loves you, and that’s enough for me.”

“That’s what we’re here for people. To love people,” Gifford added.

  2. Kathy Lee Gifford? What? Isn’t this the monster that carried an image of the severed head of President Trump? The one that gave a pathetic apology then retracted it? If you’d said she practiced witchcraft and black magic, stood up for the Taliban and was all for eliminating ICE and opening our borders to anyone, I would not have been shocked.

  3. God bless you, Kathie. In Jesus, we have the “peace that passes all understanding,” the
peace that Jesus, alone, can give. That’s why we can love unlovable people – just as
Jesus, even while he died on the cross for all our sins. How can we remain quiet when
    we KNOW such a Person?????

  4. I DON’T think you are referring to Kathy Lee Gifford are you. Maybe Kathy Griffin. She’s the one who displayed the severed head of Pres. Trump. She is pure evil!

  5. When I was at Rockafeller Center I had walked into the NBC Building and stood in the lobby outside of the Today Show Studio door when the show was over to my surprise out walked Kathy Lee, She was so gracious and kind she looked up at me as I said hi Kathy Lee how are you she smiled at me and said hi back but she was in a hurry and had to run so I told her God Bless you and she smiled and had to go. It was about 4 or 5 years ago. I really forgot the exact date.

  6. Ms. Gifford is a “Diamond in the rough”, so the saying goes. Her faith in the Lord goes before worldly things, and stands above all the depravity and avarice in Hollywood and the entertainment industry.

  7. I want you to know you ment a lot to me and my kids every morning you were there and as they got older they loved best of luck you are a great human. Beat wishes to you and we loved .
