Hollywood continues to eat their own in their infamous politically-correct lynch-mobs.
Some of the most high-profile actors of yesteryear are completely blacklisted.
And now Hollywood’s most anti-Trump Hollywood actor just landed in hot water after this #MeToo accusation.
The #MeToo movement began with good intentions, and took down some actual serious offenders like Harvey Weinstein, who is currently on trial for rape charges.
But now it is used as a way for women in Hollywood to get media attention, and many of their sexual assault allegations are extremely weak.
And the newest victim of this is Jim Carrey, who has become one of the most vile anti-Trump actors in Hollywood since Trump was elected.
He creates art attacking Trump and his allies, often painting them in unflattering positions, along with vulgar captions.
During an interview about his latest movie, Sonic the Hedgehog, he made flirtatious remarks to a female journalist, causing left-wing figures to turn on him, claiming he sexually harassed her.
While being interviewed by Heat Magazine reporter Charlotte Long, Carrey was asked, “In the film, Sonic has a bucket list and I was wondering after all you’ve done in your career, in your life, is there anything still left in your bucket list?”
Carrey replied: “Just you.”
His response brought about nervous laughter from Long, who replied, “Wow… I don’t know what to say to that.”
Carrey said, “Just own it.” Long replied, “OK, I’m owning it now.”
To most, the exchange was comedic, and is something that would be expected from Carrey, who has a long history of film roles that are far from politically correct.
But to the left-wing mobs on Twitter, Carrey was labeled terms like “sleazeball,” and a “piece of s***.”
“Look up ‘sleazeball’ in the dictionary and there’s a photo of Jim Carrey,” one Twitter user stated.
Another referenced his anti-Trump paintings, asking if the actor can “finger paint a nice image of you being a piece of s***?”
Despite being known as perhaps the most anti-Trump actor in Hollywood, Carrey did claim that he would stop attacking Trump in a January announcement.
But unsurprisingly, he broke that promise just last week, telling Stephen Colbert during an interview that Trump is the “ambrosia of evil.”
Do you think Hollywood actors should leave President Trump alone and deal with their own issues?
