Google banned this Christian video that they don’t want you to see

104

Google has joined Facebook and Twitter in a collective effort to silence Christian and conservative content.

But this time they went too far.

And the reason they gave for banning this Christian video on YouTube will leave you scratching your head.

Christian radio host Dr. Michael Brown produced a video on the Christian view of same-sex marriage.

Dr. Brown explains that every practicing Christian struggles in some area with sin.

In the video, Brown tells people that homosexual men and women are welcome to be Christians like anyone else.

But the Bible says that homosexuality is a sin and you cannot in good conscience be a practicing Christian and engage in homosexual behavior.

Google’s Silicon Valley employees deemed that message hateful and banned the video from YouTube.

The Daily Caller reports:

Google banned a video explaining Christian teaching on same-sex marriage from advertising on YouTube after backlash from upset employees, according to internal Google communications reviewed by The Daily Caller News Foundation.

The video was flagged in June 2018 in an internal listserv, “Yes at Google,” which is run by Google’s human resources department, according to those communications and other internal documents, which a source shared with The DCNF on the condition of anonymity.

The listserv has more than 30,000 members and is devoted to policing “microaggressions” and “micro-corrections” within the company, according to its official internal description.

The internal backlash to the video grew large enough to merit a response from a Google vice president, who said the video would no longer be eligible to run as an advertisement, the human resources team announced to the listserv.

Google’s left-wing culture is hostile to Christians and conservatives.

During the 2016 election, Google employees were even caught disrupting Google searches to suppress conservative content.

Now, they are setting their sights on Christian content.

Determining if the video is offensive or not is a rather subjective debate.

It’s clear that Dr. Brown made an effort to welcome homosexuals to the faith but stood his ground on the Christian perspective concerning same-sex marriage.

Google is sending a message that it values censoring content they disagree with over free speech.

You can watch the video for yourself below:

Do you agree with Google’s Silicon Valley employees that this is hateful and should be banned? Let us know in the comments section.

  1. Since God forbids homosexuality, you are going against what He created us to be if you are homosexual. It is a sin and all sin must be forgiven to enter into Heaven. But homosexuals don’t believe they are sinning so will not come to Jesus and ask forgiveness. Very sad. And I have not had anything to do with Google in many years because of their anti-Christian anti-conservative hostility. I am perfectly happy with another search engine. I rarely do Facebook, either.

    • Waiting for the day that google censors God (Yahweh) since He tells us what is a sin and what isn’t a sin. But I’m sure they won’t censor allah.

    • GOOGLE,FB,TWITTER ARE ALL IN THE PROCESS OF GETTING THEIR CUMUPPANCE.ONLY A MATTER OF TIME NOW.MINEY TALKS AND WHEN THEY START SHELKING OUT BILLIONS IN LAWSUITS THEY WILL CONFORM

    • I disagree that it was hateful but I also disagree that homosexuals cannot come to Christ or will not ask for his forgiveness. There is no place in the Bible that says homosexuals are excluded from Gods grace, that is between God and the sinner. Go says it is a sin to lie to steal to be envious or a backbiter (gossip). Which of these sins are the worst? None, no sin is worse then another sin. In Gods eyes there is no Grey area; it is a sin or it is not. Being a gossip is no different then being a homosexual. God never said homosexuals were to be kept out of church or treated as a stain on the churches beliefs. We are to work out our own salvation with God as our guide. Nobody is brought to God or his teachings by being hateful. We are to love everybody and leave the judgment to God.

      • Christine….I totally agree with what you said. But homosexuals won’t repent because they do not think what they are doing is a sin. They have rejected what the Bible says about homosexuality.

      • Totally agree. It’s NOT up to us to JUDGE someone, for behavior that does NOT hurt another, or is legal. Some people need to get a life! They have too much time on their hands and/or are trying to get EVERYONE to do as they say.

  2. If the Masterpiece Bakery a private business, can legally refuse to serve LGBT people, then these private businesses can refuse to air this show as well.
Be careful what you wish for, righties.

    • I am very sorry old dog,
Your thinking is flawed, the bakery serves a very small local community and DOES NOT effect world populations! Google, Twitter, YouTube etc effect INFORMATION from mass population.

This is nothing more than CENSORSHIP/BOOKBURNING a lose/RESTRICTION of our God given rights. Nobody is restricting info about/for/by LGBT population and calling it hate speech. Why eliminate info for/about/by Christians and deem it hate speech? That essentially states Christians are a hate group! This is nothing more than what Hitler did, try to eliminate a a huge part of the population.

@theolddog……..because you don’t like some group/some situation/some words you feel you have the right to shut down all of everything you don’t like? That is Racism and Narcissism ! This is NOT how Americans act IF they want to keep the only free country in the world. Well free for now till racists like you turn us into any other country.

    • You will enjoy hell!!!!! NOT the same thing DA. There is a big difference in freedom of speech and freedom of religion. May you will learn something someday

    • I have been saying this for a very, very long time. When you take away someone else’s right, you will end up taking away your own right. I do not believe in censorship, period. I believe in all forms of free speech, even the ones that I am against (the KKK, as an example), except where it promotes violence. Your rights end where mine begin.

    • Masterpiece does NOT refuse to sell to the mentally ill and perverted among us.
The simply refuse to CREATE that which goes against their Christian values to anyone.

    • Is Google in Trouble? Yes, And There Is No Coming Back
      Miguel Conner — July 8, 2015

It’s almost 4 years later since that article was written and Google is still here. Just saying.

  3. Stop lying and find another group of people to pick on. I think god said more about the commandments which the majority of you break on a daily basis, than homosexuality. Worry about your own perceived sins: lie cheat steal kill greed idoltry, etc., because it’s all made up BS. No one really knows for sure no matter what the voices in their heads tell them.

    • Nana…You will know the moment you die that God is very real. YES, we can and DO know for sure. ALL who come to Jesus and accept Him as their Savoir KNOW He is there. You have rejected Him. That is on you

  4. Dr. Brown is actually doing a wonderful thing by admonishing those caught up in this sin, and showing them through scripture how we are to live. Rather than be banned this man should be commended.

  5. Please don’t miss the most important reason why God disapproves of homosexual behavior…it would eliminate the human race. God’s first command was for man and woman to procreate the earth with godly offspring. If Satan can get everyone to think they are homosexual, then he can eliminate the human race because no babies can be conceived.

    • Uhm, no.

In Ezekiel 16:48–50, God compares Jerusalem to Sodom, saying “Sodom never did what you and your daughters have done.” He explains that the sin of Sodom was that “She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy. They were haughty and did detestable things before me.”

      • That is false. Better read it all again. It is homosexuality and other sexual sins that did in Sodom and Gomorrah. You can twist the truth but that means nothing at all. You have rejected God and His truth.

        • The bible clearly states what happened to the Sodom and Gomorrah as well as three other cities for their hospitality or lack of. But if you can explain Ezekiel 16:48–50 any other way, I am listening.

    • You are correct, Tom.
In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire. In the very same way, these dreamers pollute their own bodies, reject authority and slander celestial beings. (Jude 7-8)

Sexual sins were the main reason they were destroyed, but there were a lot of other sins that contributed.

      • The sin that Jude condemns is humans having sex with or attempting to have sex with angels. He does not mention or condemn homosexuals and lesbians or transgender people.

        Jude, verses 5-7
5 – “I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.

6 – And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

7 – Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.” – Jude 6-7, KJV

Isn’t that interesting? Yet many anti-gay Christians take the verses out of context to condemn gays and lesbians. They assert, falsely, that v. 7 is a negative attack on lesbian women and gay men.

That’s interesting because he uses the Greek word, heteras, (meaning different) from which we get our English word, heterosexual, instead of the Greek word, homoios, (meaning same) from which we get our English word, homosexual.

The careful choice of words by the half-brother of Jesus indicates that the point at issue with God is not homosexuality. The sin that Jude condemns is humans attempting to have sex with angels. The sin was attempting to have sex with someone too different or heteras.

        • Nothing you say matters. You have no concept at all of God’s truth, as you have rejected Him. He will also reject you. You can misinterpret the Bible all you want, but all who belong to Jesus know the truth that you deny.

          • Look if you want to deny what I am saying, that is your right. No skin off my back. I am just trying to explain to you that there are other views of the bible. When you read the Bible in Greek, things really start to make sense. But I support you in the way you want to see the bible. That is your right.

            Peace.

          • You can have whatever view of the Bible you want, but is the true word of God, whom you have rejected and God will have the last word. There is one truth, and that is that Jesus died for your sins so you have the chance to join Him in Heaven. Sin is not allowed in Heaven and must be forgiven to enter. Jesus loves you so much that He paid it all for you. All you have to do is accept His great gift. It costs nothing. He paid it all on the cross. You have the choice to follow Jesus to Heaven or satan to Hell. That is what the Bible teaches, and nothing you say can change the truth

          • But whose truth are you following? The original word of god or the poorly translated one?

Just food for thought. No worries, I still like you and always wish the best for you.

        • Why do you come here and try and tell Christians what their Book says????? They know far more than you what the truth is. Christians have accepted Jesus as their Savior and will live with Him in Heaven for eternity They are saved and their sins are forgiven. It does not matter what you think. You have rejected the truth of God and embraced the lies of satan.

          • bj, stop taking this personal. I am merely showing you what the bible in the original form said. If you don’t want to believe me, that is fine. I am not trying to convert anyone to anything. Just trying to open your minds a little bit more. But I support you in whichever path you take. I wish only the best for you.

          • I’m sorry you feel that way. I hope you find peace in your words towards me. I wish only the best for you.

        • If you know the Bible so well, why don’t you practice what you preach??? You claim to know all about Jesus, yet you have not accepted Him. It’s all just empty words to you.

          • I did practice what I preached for over 20 years. I did accept him as my savior. I just chose a different path for myself now.

          • There is no such thing as a former Christian. Once you belong to Jesus it is for eternity. If you truly accepted Him, you are stuck with Him. But it seems that you did not, as you have no knowledge of His wondrous love and mercy. Unlike you, He will never abandon those who belong to Him.

          • Are you seriously question my former faith? Is that really your job to do? Devoting over half my life to god, going to college to learn his word, teaching for over 20 years his word and you question my past faith just because I choose to go in a different direction now? Now I feel sorry for you.

  6. It really comes down to how serious one is about the Bible, the whole Bible. Which comes down further to how serious one is about God. If you believe the Bible to be the Word of God, authoritative , essential, and absolutely true to Him then ones actions have to follow our beliefs. That hold true not only for sexual actions but attitudes of the heart!

  7. I see in the video love, caring about the human race. Being forgiven of my sin is the most wonderful feeling one can have in this life. The Islamic belief is one of hate. The folks that practice homosexuality would be killed, I find no love in that. Many times love is missunderstood, to love someone is caring about their soul wanting to see them blessed. Same as a good parent wanting to teach their children right from wrong. Caring, loving someone is not telling a person standing at the edge of a steep cliff to jump off to their death. No it is pulling them away from the cliff to save their life. A true believer is full of God’s love so souls can be saved from the judgement if eternity in hell. Hate would say do as you please go to hell. People need to understand real love, I see love in the video not hate. The truth SHALL set you free.

  8. I believe homosexuality is a sin, but that is my belief and I do not push it on anyone else, howeve, these days the homosexuals, transgenders, etc, etc are not happy unless they are pushing their lifestyle down everyone’s throat!!

        • My bad. I should have been clearer in what I was saying. Non-Christians say that Christians push (shove) their religion down non-Christians throats. Doesn’t matter if you feel you are morally superior or not. I was just saying that for every time Christians complain about other lifestyles being shoved down their throats, non-Christians are complaining 10 fold.

          • I see it the other way around. I am constantly bombarded by pro-LGBT images, issues and articles, while the only “Christian” push I have noticed is from the Jehova’s Witnesses.

          • You think the Jehovah Witnesses are the only Christian “push”? Do you live under a rock?

  9. I am a log cabin Republican and Catholic and RC schooled and an Eagle Scout, and despite all this Hate, I’m happy the Dunces all agree that: “But the Bible says that homosexuality is a sin and you cannot in good conscience be a practicing Christian and engage in homosexual behavior.” You believe this idiot.
It is increasingly more and more difficult to be a conservative Republican meandering among the ranks of 14th century Inquisitioners and ignorant, single track buffoons.
Attention all sheep….The words ‘heterosexual’ and ‘homosexual’ were invented by a religious fanatical (you know the kind) Brit in the 1890s named Ken Watson, who had a poor a command of Latin and Greek because he had an agenda (like you and the rest of the democrat accusers), and had about as poor an “interpretation’ of whatever Bible this Herr Doktor Brown claims contains the word “homosexual.”
That word is no more than 150 years old.
More and more I’m seeing the democrats as being right…you DO hate gays.
Find “homosexual” in the Bible, or are you taking it on yourself to claim to know what the Creator REALLY meant. Wow the lot of you should be ashamed. I could never claim to know anything about what God actually means or ANYTHING about the Creator, but you enlightened cherubs apparently do.
Funny how the Old Testament is usually shunned by Christians because it’s “not the word of God,” when they conveniently dismiss the stoning of someone wearing two kinds of cloth, yet right beneath that, in your valued Leviticus is, paraphrased, “Man shall not lay with Man,” but THAT is relevant…the rest is all gibberish. Right? Gleaning ambiguous words to support an argument is no argument.
YOU are 100% certain in your knowledge of your bible and it’s allegory, and know the mind of God so well, that He wasn’t talking about transmission of camel flies or lice? Sex is mentioned many times in the Bible and the meaning is crystal clear, but not in Leviticus, tho YOU know precisely what those words mean because Ken Watson told you so, and Ken Watson connected those words with gay, and from then to today, it is ‘sinful.’ I’m sure that ‘H’ word is in Dr. Mikey ‘Ernest Angley’ Brown’s latest, updated version of a bible written and edited by some fat British king that says in black and white, “homosexuality is a sin!” but I’m reverent enough to know that no one can understand the mind of God, excepting for, of course, self righteous, low IQ, bigoted Republicans.
Next time you flagrantly attempt to interpret whatever you make of non-specific words and allegory, just remember what you’ve been taught…God created homosexuals to give someone, like you, to reject.
So, in creating us, either ….
    1. God was wrong, or
    2. God made a mistake.
Choose one, then spout away with more of your diseducated HATE.

    • God is very clear that homosexuality is a sin. You can twist the truth but that does not change it. The word homosexual does not have to appear in the Bible to understand that it is meant. You deny God’s words and decide that He does not mean what He says, but that just makes you a fool. There are several places in the NEW Testament that also attest to homosexuality being a sin and Jesus says that marriage is between a man and a woman. But guess He doesn’t matter to you, either.

      • Actually, there are 8 different types of marriages found in the bible.

        1. The standard nuclear family: Genesis 2:24 describes how a man leaves his family of origin, joins with a woman, consummates the marriage and lives as a couple. There were quite a few differences between the customs and laws of contemporary North Americans and of ancient Israelites. In ancient Israel:
-Inter-faith marriages were theoretically forbidden. However, they were sometimes formed.
-Children of inter-faith marriages were considered illegitimate.
-Marriages were generally arranged by family or friends; they did not result from a gradually evolving, loving relationship that developed during a period of courtship.
-A bride who had been presented as a virgin and who could not be proven to be one was stoned to death by the men of her village. (Deuteronomy 22:13-21) There appears to have been no similar penalty for men who engaged in consensual pre-marital sexual activity.

        2. Polygamous marriage: A man would leave his family of origin and join with his first wife. Then, as finances allowed, he would marry as many additional women as he desired. The new wives would join the man and his other wives in an already established household. Polygamy was practiced by members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Mormons, until the practice was suspended, a least temporarily, in the late nineteenth century. It is still practiced by separated fundamentalist Mormon groups which have left and been excommunicated from the main church.

There are many references to polygamous marriages in the Bible:
-Lamech, in Genesis 4:19, became the first known polygynist. He had two wives.
        – Subsequent men in polygamous relationships included:
        — Esau with 3 wives;
        — Jacob: 2;
        — Ashur: 2;
        — Gideon: many;
        — Elkanah: 2;
        — David: many;
        — Solomon had 700 wives of royal birth;
        — Rehaboam: 3;
        — Abijah: 14.
        — Jehoram, Joash, Ahab, Jeholachin and Belshazzar also had multiple wives.
        – From the historical record, it is known that Herod the Great had nine wives.

Note: Unable to find references to polyandrous marriages in the Bible — unions involving one woman and more than one man. It is unlikely that many existed because of the distinctly inferior status given to women; they were often treated as property in the Hebrew Scriptures.

        3. Levirate Marriage: The name of this type of marriage is derived from the Latin word “levir,” which means “brother-in-law.” This involved a woman who was widowed without having borne a son. She would be required to leave her home, marry her brother-in-law, live with him, and engage in sexual relations. If there were feelings of attraction and love between the woman and her new husband, this arrangement could be quite agreeable to both. Otherwise, the woman would have to endure what was essentially serial rapes with her former brother-in-law as perpetrator. Their first-born son was considered to be sired by the deceased husband. In Genesis 38:6-10, Tamar’s husband Er was killed by God for unspecified sinful behavior. Er’s brother, Onan, was then required by custom to marry Tamar. Not wanting to have a child who would not be considered his, he engaged in an elementary (and quite unreliable) method of birth control: coitus interruptus. God appears to have given a very high priority to the levirate marriage obligation. Being very displeased with Onan’s behavior, God killed him as well. Ruth 4 reveals that a man would be required to enter into a levirate marriage not only with his late brother’s widow but with a widow to whom he was the closest living relative.

        4. A man, a woman and her property — a female slave: As described in Genesis 16, Sarah and Abram were infertile. Sarah owned Hagar, a female slave who apparently had been purchased earlier in Egypt. Because Hagar was Sarah’s property, she could dispose of her as she wished. Sarah gave Hagar to Abram as a type of wife, so that Abram would have an heir. Presumably, the arrangement to marry and engage in sexual activity was done without the consent of Hagar, who had such a low status in the society of the day that she was required to submit to what she probably felt were serial rapes by Abram. Hagar conceived and bore a son, Ishmael. This type of marriage had some points of similarity to polygamous marriage, as described above. However, Hagar’s status as a human slave in a plural marriage with two free individuals makes it sufficiently different to warrant separate treatment here.

        5. A man, one or more wives, and some concubines: A man could keep numerous concubines, in addition to one or more wives. These women held an even lower status than a wife. As implied in Genesis 21:10, a concubine could be dismissed when no longer wanted. According to Smith’s Bible Dictionary, “A concubine would generally be either (1) a Hebrew girl bought…[from] her father; (2) a Gentile captive taken in war; (3) a foreign slave bought; or (4) a Canaanitish woman, bond or free.” They would probably be brought into an already-established household. Abraham had two concubines; Gideon: at least 1; Nahor: 1; Jacob: 1; Eliphaz: 1; Gideon: 1; Caleb: 2; Manassah: 1; Saul: 1; David: at least 10; Rehoboam: 60; Solomon: 300!; an unidentified Levite: 1; Belshazzar: more than 1.

        6. A male soldier and a female prisoner of war: Numbers 31:1-18 describes how the army of the ancient Israelites killed every adult Midianite male in battle. Moses then ordered the slaughter in cold blood of most of the captives, including all of the male children who numbered about 32,000. Only the lives of 32,000 women – all virgins — were spared. Some of the latter were given to the priests as slaves. Most were taken by the Israeli soldiers as captives of war. Deuteronomy 21:11-14 describes how each captive woman would shave her head, pare her nails, be left alone to mourn the loss of her families, friends, and freedom. After a full month had passed, they would be required to submit to their owners sexually, as a wife. It is conceivable that in a few cases, a love bond might have formed between the soldier and his captive(s). However, in most cases we can assume that the woman had to submit sexually against her will; that is, she was raped.

        7. A male rapist and his victim: Deuteronomy 22:28-29 requires that a female virgin who is not engaged to be married and who has been raped must marry her attacker, no matter what her feelings were towards the rapist. A man could become married by simply sexually attacking a woman that appealed to him and paying his father-in-law 50 shekels of silver. There is one disadvantage of this approach: he was not allowed to subsequently divorce her.

        8. A male and female slave: Exodus 21:4 indicates that a slave owner could assign one of his female slaves to one of his male slaves as a wife. There is no indication that women were consulted during this type of transaction. The arrangement would probably involve rape in most cases. In the times of the Hebrew Scriptures, Israelite women who were sold into slavery by their fathers were slaves forever. Men and women who became slaves by another route were limited to serving as slaves for seven years. When a male slave left his owner, the marriage would normally be terminated; his wife would stay behind, with any children that she had. He could elect to stay a slave if he wished.

There do not appear to be any passages in the Bible that condemn any of these forms of marriages or family structures.

        • So?????? What Jesus said supersedes all of the OT except for the Mosaic laws. You should know that He said that He came to fulfill the law. It is very clear that you have no concept of who Jesus is or why He came.

          • -God was displeased with Solomon’s approximately 1,000 wives and concubines. But it was not because of the polygynous arrangement of one male and multiple females. God was concerned that many of the women were foreigners, and worshiped foreign Gods. They eventually lead Solomon to stray from worshipping Yahweh. (1 King 11:1-6).
-Polygamous marriages were part of God’s plan, according to the Hebrew Scriptures (Old Testament). Jacob had twelve sons who became the patriarchs of the twelve Tribes of Israel with the help of two wives and two female slaves.
-Jesus is recorded in John 2:1-11 as converting water into wine at a wedding in Cana, in the Galilee. He seems to have created the wine in order to help the wedding organizers who had run out prematurely. Some believe that by making the wine, Jesus affirmed his approval of the first type of marriage, listed above. That might be true. But there is no indication that Jesus indicated disapproval of any other forms of marriage. He never criticized polygamous marriages, levirate marriages, or any of the other marriage types listed above.
-John the Baptist criticized Herod’s polygamous marriage to Herodias. (Matthew 14:3). But the criticism was based on Herod’s inappropriate choice of Heodias since she was the wife of his brother Philip. John apparently had no concern about the fact that it was a polygamous marriage.
-Some interpret Jesus’ comments on divorce in (Mark 10:2 & Matthew 19:3) as proof that Jesus supported only the first type of marriage listed above. But his response “So they are no longer two but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate” was in answer to a specific question from the Pharisees: whether “a man” was allowed to divorce “his wife.” (Matthew 19:3). Jesus’ response, which denied a man the right of a man to divorce his wife, does show that at least Jesus acknowledged the nuclear, one-man-one-woman marriage. But it does not exclude support for the other types of family structure, listed above. Polygamy was less common during the first century CE than it was in earlier times, but it was still practiced. As noted above, Herod the Great had nine wives.

          • You can reject my words all you want, but I take offense of you calling me names. When did I ever call you one? When did I ever say anything nasty to you? You are taking this personal when all it was is a debate. But I still wish you all the best.

          • So why did Jesus come here? You have no affinity for Him at all, just what you can spout off, which means nothing at all. satan knows all about the Bible as you do, and he is much more intelligent. He is your master.

          • You can post the entire Bible and it means nothing at all. You have rejected what it teaches and have no knowledge of truth.

          • I belong to Jesus and will join Him in Heaven. I have applied what I read. You have not. It means nothing at all to you, yet you arrogantly try and tell Christians what to believe.

          • When did I ever say that you have to believe what I say? I have never once tried to convert anyone. I speak the truth about how the New Testament was originally written in Greek and how the translation wasn’t done correctly. Whether you believe me or not, is no skin off of my nose. I was just trying to enlighten you to some things about the bible. As an ex-teacher, it is sometimes hard to break the habit. My apologies for trying to educate you further.

        • You don’t even know what the central teaching of the Bible is. You can’t know what you have no knowledge of and you have no knowledge of Jesus’ great love and sacrifice for you. That is your great loss

          • Reminders

            – Colossians 4:6 Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.

            – Proverbs 19:11 Good sense makes one slow to anger, and it is his glory to overlook an offense.

            – Luke 6:31 And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them.

          • Jesus came to seek and to save that which is lost. That is EVERONE. We all sin and need Jesus. I sincerely hope that you will find your way to Him and discover His wondrous love

          • Been there, done that, bought the T-shirt. My path takes me in a different direction then yours does. I am not saying mine is better or yours is worse, I am saying that I chose a different path for myself. I support you in your decision and faith. Peace.

  10. Oh please, you are no true republican or a Christian. Your language is not in the Bible or used by Christians. You talk like a typical homosexual. Homosexual activity has been done by humans by pagans just like worship of bunches of gods was done by pagans for centuries. The Jewish people didn’t bother homosexuals as long as they didn’t push their sexual activity out into the view of the public like LGBT is doing today. So some guy named the man on man activity as homosexual activity but it was referred to by many names through the centuries and you know it. Satan has always had his followers in this world. It’s your choice to do various sexual activity and some of it was declared bad in the Bible. The problem you have with Christianity is that to be a follower of Jesus you need to love Jesus and his Father first and follow the teaching God through Jesus gave us, not love your man on man sex as worship ahead of Jesus and his Father. To be a Christian you follow sex between a man and woman and find peace in doing as God asks.

    • WOW! Did you just attack a fellow Christian because he doesn’t follow like you? A relationship between God and oneself is a private and personal thing. Since you are not god, you cannot know is what their faith is. It is people like you that are turning people away from God. It won’t be you that will stand before God when they die, so stop acting like a judge at their trial.

      • Kaci, how can you judge Anna? Since you are not GOD you cannot know what her faith is either. You are the usual liberal hypocrite. I’ve seen your posts on other sites so I’m getting a good idea what you are about. And it’s not good.

        • The difference between Anna and myself is that I didn’t judge her. I asked if she was judging someone else and pointed her to the error in her ways. I never said I was god, in fact, I clearly stated that I am not one.

If you know me so well, then tell me what I am all about.

  11. WOW I WONDER HOW MANY WILL BE SAVE WHEN GOD COMES I TRY TO PRACTICE LOVE ,FAITH ,AND THE WORDS OF JESUS . GOD BLESS YOU ALL HOPE YOU ALL REDEEM YOUR SELVES INCLUDING ME BEFORE GOD COME AGAIN .

  12. OH Missy Religion…I was taught only God judged people. Are you God now, know what s/he thinks? You are no mpre than a damn hypocrite and an uneducated mouthpiece. Drone. Follow your HATERS

  13. All life on earth comes to a end, (eventually) you will stand before god, and you will pay for your sins.
    With or without google.
Do whatever you want to do, it’s your choice, the clock is ticking…….

  14. The apostle Paul repeatedly attacked sexual immorality: “This is God’s will—your sanctification, that you keep yourselves from sexual immorality, that each of you learn how to take his own wife in purity and honor, not in lustful passion like the gentiles who have no knowledge of God.” (I Thessalonians 4:3-5)

Paul told his followers not to associate with sexually immoral people (I Corinthians 5:9-12, 6:15,18). “Make no mistake,” warned Paul, “no fornicator or idolater, none who are guilty either of adultery or of homosexual perversion, no thieves or grabbers or drunkards or slanderers or swindlers, will possess the kingdom of God.” (I Corinthians 6:9-10 [NEB])

Paul condemned wickedness, immorality, depravity, greed, murder, quarreling, deceit, malignity, gossip, slander, insolence, pride (Romans 1:29-30), drunkenness, carousing, debauchery, jealousy (Romans 13:13), sensuality, magic arts, animosities, bad temper, selfishness, dissensions, envy (Galatians 5:19-21; greediness (Ephesians 4:19; Colossians 3:5), foul speech, anger, clamor, abusive language, malice (Ephesians 4:29-32), dishonesty (Colossians 3:13), materialism (I Timothy 6:6-11), conceit, avarice, boasting and treachery. (II Timothy 3:2-4)

Paul told the gentiles to train themselves for godliness, to practice self-control and lead upright, godly lives (Galatians 5:23; I Timothy 4:7; II Timothy 1:7; Titus 2:11-12). He instructed them to ALWAYS pray constantly. (I Thessalonians 5:17)

Paul praised love, joy, peace, kindness, generosity, fidelity and gentleness (Galatians 5:22-23). He told his followers to conduct themselves with humility and gentleness (Ephesians 4:2), to speak to one another in psalms and hymns; to sing heartily and make music to the Lord. (Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16)

Paul wrote further that women should cover their heads while worshiping, and that long hair on males is dishonorable. (I Corinthians 11:5-14) According to Paul, Christian women are to dress modestly and prudently, and are not to be adorned with braided hair, gold or pearls or expensive clothes. (I Timothy 2:9)

      • But it is very clear that it is meant…
For this reason God gave them up to dishonourable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error. (Romans 1:26-27)

        • No, Romans 1:26-27 does not condemn gays, transgendered people, lesbians or bisexuals. All Christians have a duty before God to interpret scripture honestly, in context, instead of divorcing verses from their context and then insisting they mean something they never meant to the original hearers.

“For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.” – Romans 1:26-27

Because all scripture is given in a biblical cultural, doctrinal, historical, linguistic, literary and religious context, those factors must be part of our thinking as we seek to understand scripture. Romans 1:26-27 was given in a very clear context.

There is no cultural indication, no doctrinal indication, no historical indication, no linguistic indication, no literary indication, no religious indication, that Paul intended to blast lesbians and gays in Romans 1:26-27.

Instead, Paul chooses as his illustration, the worst possible transgression of pagan Gentiles, the sin of idolatry, so that the Jews in his reading audience will be saying, “Yes, Yes, they’re guilty!” Then Paul will spring his rhetorical trap in 2:1 when he declares that Jewish idolatry is just as sinful as Gentile idolatry and therefore, in chapter 3:23, everyone is guilty. Here is how Paul puts his argument together.

The context of Romans 1 is pagan worship of false gods, particularly Cybele, known in the first century as Protectress of Rome or Magna Mater – Great Mother.

I also point out that early Christian writers like Aristides understood Paul to be describing Cybele worship. Paul has a particular goal in mind when writing to the church at Rome. That goal involved presenting the glorious gospel of Christ, Rom. 1:16-18.

The gospel reveals and declares the wrath of God against sin, that God punished Jesus for our sins when Jesus died, as us for us, as our Substitute. Yet no one gets saved until s(he) understands that s(he) is a sinner who has transgressed God’s holy law for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

Therefore, to make it clear that all are sinners, Romans 3:23, Paul references idolatry, pointing out the idolatry of Gentiles who worshiped false gods, and by implication, the idolatry of Jews because in the OT, they also broke God’s law and worshiped the false gods of the Gentiles. Their particular worship of false gods involved same-sex sexual rituals, Lev 17:7, 18:3, 21-22, 20:2, 3, 4, 5, 13, Deu 23:17-18.

Paul uses words like akatharsian in Rom 1:24, the same Greek word used in the Septuagint translation of the OT to describe shrine prostitution and shrine prostitutes. Almost everyone who read Romans 1 in the first century would have been struck by the link to shrine prostitution which Paul’s use of akatharsian indicated.

To support his argument, in Rom. 1:26-27, Paul cites examples of idolatry utilizing the idolatrous behavior of Gentiles in the OT and the idolatrous behavior which was part of everyday life in mid-first century Rome. That idolatry was the unholy worship of Cybele, also called Minerva and other names, depending on one’s cultural heritage.

Cybele as the Phrygian goddess had five temples in mid-first century Rome. As the consort of Jupiter, she also had another temple in Rome besides her five Cybele temples. Cybele was featured on Roman coins used in mid-first century Rome and throughout the empire.

Cybele was also called Magna Mater and Protectress of Rome. Paul illustrates idolatry by using an example with which all of his Roman readers would be familiar – Cybele worship. Yet his intention wasn’t to attack lesbians and gays. His intention is to support his idolatry argument with easy to recognize illustrations so that his Jewish audience will be nodding along as they read.

“Yes, those wicked idolatrous Gentiles…” Then, just as his Jewish readers are saying, “Yeah Paul, tell it like it is,” Paul drops his bombshell in chapter 2:1ff. when he says, You Jews are just as guilty before God as the Gentiles.

So in chapter 1 Paul indicts and condemns Gentiles for the sin of idolatry. In chapter 2 Paul indicts and condemns Jews because, says the apostle, you do the same things the Gentiles do. In chapter 3:10-23, Paul concludes that all are under sin, both Jews and Gentiles.

That is the historical context, the religious context, the cultural context and the spiritual context of Romans 1. Idolatry is the focus of Paul’s argument, not gays and lesbians. The cultural and religious context is unfamiliar to some modern readers because many modern readers are unfamiliar with Roman history and Jewish history in the first century AD.

Scripture cannot mean NOW what it did not mean THEN.

If Paul was not describing committed faithful non-cultic same sex partnerships in AD 58 when he wrote Romans, then it is wrong to insist that those verses are dealing with committed same-sex partnerships now.

Christians need to do more reading and study before concluding that the first notion that pops into our head when we read Romans 1 is infallibly correct. Sometimes, the first thing we think when we read a verse of scripture is wrong. That is why we are encouraged to “Study to shew yourselves approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” -2 Timothy 2:15

          • If you ever read the Bible in Greek, you will see that the translation into English was done poorly.

I am/was Eastern Orthodox (both Greek & Serbian). I went to school in an Eastern Orthodox College. I was taught the in Greek. The New Testament in English is filled with wrong translations.

          • ???? God is who He is and Jesus is who He is. What He said stands. You have denied His truth that all must be saved to enter into Heaven. You have not been saved, yet you arrogantly tell Christians what to believe.

  15. Man with man- unnatural- sin. Woman with woman- unnatural- sin. Sex outside marriage-sin also. One type of sin is as bad another. All sin needs to be confessed to be forgiven to be saved. Bible could not be more clear.

    • You are right on. But homosexuals deny the truth so will not confess their sin. God said woe unto those who call good evil and evil good and that is just what is happening.

  16. Google is prejudice and wrong. I will no longer use them until I hear something more favorable to bible followers and conservatives.

  17. There are “churches” that have denied God’s Word and decide for themselves what is right or wrong. Since Jesus is the head of the church, He will deny all who twist God’s words.

  18. Beautifully done! Don’t find the comments hateful at all, but kind and loving in the explanations. Crazy that goggle, facebook, and twitter can post other comments that are truly hateful such as some of the rantings of the Democrates, skin heads, anti Jewish, pro gun violence, anti Christian hate groups, anti police/military, pro abortionists, anti religious and anti racial groups, etc. But this one is hateful. Come on now!

  19. As I am 100% straight and very proud of it. I must say there certainly some very direct and interesting points of view being expressed. Here is another slant to consider. What if you were sent here by God to live a life you are living for a reason of learning the means and purpose of that life. And when you return to Heaven you sit and discuss what you experienced and learned in that life while being mortal. It just happen to be that life you had to live lead you into the world of homosexuality even as you were a Christian. Interesting concept to consider. All Christians must remember the Bible was written by man and has been changed many times through the centuries to accommodate that current civilization and its mind set of the time. Careful what you THINK God said and how you perceive what other say about God. Live the life you were sent here to live, and live it to the best you can by treating others as you would have them treat you,,,

  20. The fags may own the internet, but GOD owns the universe. They r but a gnat in the entire scheme of things and will likely be swatted and finally put to rest in the Lake of Fire.
    In HIS time…
