Hollywood stars are working hard to prove who is the most anti-Trump.
Preaching from their ivory towers, they believe they know what is best for everyday Americans.
And George Lopez’s latest anti-Trump statement is so extreme he could end up in jail.
Following the killing of Iranian General, and documented terrorist, Qasem Soleimani the Left has been losing their minds.
They believe the killing is an act of war and many are even siding with Iran, which is the biggest state-sponsor of terrorism in the world.
Washed-up comedian George Lopez took that to new heights by responding to news of an $80 million bounty of President Trump’s head by stating, “We’ll do it for half.”
The Daily Caller reports:
Comedian George Lopez responded to news of a call on Iranian state television for an $80 million bounty on President Donald Trump’s head by saying “We’ll do it for half.”
Trump on Thursday ordered the drone strike that killed Iranian Gen. Qasem Soleimani near a Baghdad airport. Both the president and the Department of Defense defended the killing as an action against “imminent” threats posed by the Quds general to U.S. diplomats and service members.
However, during Soleimani’s funeral on Iranian state TV, a eulogist could be heard calling for an $80 million bounty on the U.S. president’s heat, one dollar for every person in Iran. It was unclear if the call officially came from the Iranian government.
Responding to reporting on the bounty from Chicano World News posted on Instagram, Lopez wrote, “We’ll do it for half.”
Lopez’s post left many on social media wondering if the U.S. Secret Service was looking into the matter.
Lopez’s statement appears to violate U.S. law, which makes it a federal offense to threaten a sitting or former President.
People have been sentenced to prison terms for making less direct threats than Lopez did.
Those cases didn’t even involve an established bounty by a foreign government, like Lopez’s statement clearly does.
Should Secret Service arrest George Lopez?
