It is becoming almost commonplace to see leftist politicians championing pro-abortion causes and applauding those who stand up for a woman’s “right to choose” murder.
Americans are seeing ads on television that allude to the notion that aborting a child is acceptable and, in some cases, often necessary so the woman can go on to “live her life” without the “burden” of a child. As if all of that isn’t enough, we are even seeing people who claim to be “pastors” give credence to the ideas of pro-abortion liberals.
However, one NFL coaching legend has had enough and is vocally questioning the faith of this so-called “pastor” running for office.
Former NFL coach, Tony Dungy, does not shy away from his Christian faith and ardent support of the sanctity of human life from the time of conception.
In a Tweet earlier this week, Reverend Raphael Warnock, a “pastor,” and Democrat from Georgia running against incumbent Republican Senator Kelly Loeffler, said that he is a “pro-choice pastor.”
Warnock is the senior “pastor” of Ebenezer Baptist Church and has come under fire for opposing abortion restrictions ahead of Jan. 5 runoffs that will decide control of the Senate.
Tony Dungy had something to say about the Reverend’s pro-abortion statement.
In response to Warnock’s Tweet, Dungy said that Reverend Warnock may be a “pastor” but, “My question would be, ‘Is he a Christian?’ That is, does he follow the teachings of Jesus, and does he believe that the Bible is the absolute word of God?”
Dungy went on to site Psalm 139:13-16, saying that he thinks it would be difficult for someone who claims to believe scripture “to think that it is OK to choose to not bring that life to fruition.”
More than two dozen conservative Black ministers took Warnock to task as well, sending an open letter to Warnock criticizing the Democrat Senate candidate’s support for abortion rights.
The Left has doubled down in their efforts to normalize abortion and paint it as a necessity for those that wish to succeed in life.
Leftist organizations like “Shout Your Abortion” provide a forum for women to discuss openly why they got abortions and what it was like.
The idea of taking an innocent human life has become so ingrained in the American culture that we now see so-called “pastors” owning the idea that they are pro-abortion.
America needs to wake up and realize that the more the Left “normalizes” the murder of the unborn, the closer they get to “normalizing” the murder of anyone.
