A top star just infuriated all the liberals in Hollywood by pointing out one truth

Hollywood is a cesspool of liberal group-think.

Anybody who challenges the narrative is kicked out of the industry, like Roseanne Barr was.

And one top star just infuriated all the liberals in Hollywood by pointing out one truth.

There are few actors in Hollywood as big as Matthew McConaughey.

The Oscar-winning actor has played key roles in some of the biggest movies in the history of Hollywood.

While he hasn’t really made his political beliefs known, he has in the past angered the Left over his calls for unity.

In 2017, he called for people to come together behind President Trump to give him a chance.

“No matter how much you disagreed along the way, it’s time to think how constructive can you be,” McConaughey said. “Because he’s our president for the next four years, at least.”

And he isn’t done infuriating the Left now.

In an interview with actor Russell Brand, McConaughey called out the far-left for acting “condescending” and “patronizing” toward conservatives.

Brand questioned McConaughey about people who dismiss Trump supporters as “dumb,” stating that he doesn’t like that, but that it is common place in his industry.

McConaughey responded with a story.

“Somebody said to me the other day, ‘You know what’s in the middle, McConaughey? Yellow lines and dead armadillos,’” he added. “And I said, ‘Let me tell you something, bud, I’m walking down the yellow line right now, and the armadillos are running free having a great time. You know why? The other two sides – the two vehicles on either side of the political aisle are so far apart, they’re f***ing tires aren’t even on the pavement anymore.”

He then went on to make his point out of the story, where he blasts the far-left’s strong bias for conservatives.

“Look, on the other side, on the far Left – there is a lot [of people] on that illiberal Left that absolutely condescend, patronize, and are arrogant towards the other 50 percent,” McConaughey continued. “Many people, I’m sure you saw it, in our industry, when Trump was voted in four years ago, they were in denial that it was actually real. Some of them were in absolute denial.”

McConaughey’s statement is a strong rebuke of what the rest of Hollywood believes.

They believe that Trump supporters are dumb at best, and evil at worst.

His statement challenges that entire orthodoxy, and will certainly result in backlash.
