A 2020 Democrat frontrunner was called out by the last person he ever expected

70

Democrats have made it clear they are either outright hostile to Christianity or they have to pretend to be “Christian enough” to get elected.

But one Democrat candidate just made a big mistake claiming to be an expert on the Bible.

And when this frontrunner was caught lying about the Bible, he was called out by the last person he ever expected.

Pete Buttigieg has been running as a “moderate” Democrat and has even talked about his faith publically.

But there are two big problems.

Buttigieg has attempted to justify the sin of homosexuality and now abortion using Scripture.

Now, his brother-in-law is publicly calling him out and telling him that he needs to “repent” for professing falsehoods that are not supported by the Bible.

The Daily Caller reports:

Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg’s evangelical brother-in-law says the South Bend, Indiana mayor needs to “repent” for finding a false Biblical basis to justify his abortion views.

Pastor Ryan Glezman told the Washington Examiner Friday that he believes Buttigieg is deliberately distorting scripture in an attempt to appeal to evangelical voters. He was especially shocked by Buttigieg’s assertion that according to the Bible, life does not begin at conception but only when the infant first breathes.

Buttigieg made the remarks Friday morning during a rambling interview with “The Breakfast Club” that included commentary about his homosexuality and his appeal to black voters.

Buttigieg has repeatedly made comments about Republicans not living up to their purported Christian beliefs — even saying that conservative Christians are hypocrites for not supporting a $15 minimum wage.

But Glezman said his brother-in-law’s latest comments forced him to speak publicly.

To be clear, no one is telling Pete Buttigieg to turn away from Christ.

But it is wrong to spread lies and false information while using the Bible as your basis.

Nowhere in Scripture does the Bible tell Christians to support abortion.

Buttigieg has used the Bible to claim that Christians should all support a $15 minimum wage as well.

He should think twice before using God to justify every single position that he holds.

What do you think?

Is Pete Buttigieg wrong to claim that the Bible supports abortion and his homosexual lifestyle? Should he instead ask for forgiveness?

Let us know in the comments below.

  1. The Bible permits abortion. Pro-lifers must become secular.

Genesis 38:24. Tamar’s pregnancy was proof that she was sexually active. Because she was a widow, without a husband, she was assumed to be a prostitute. Her father-in-law, Judah, ordered that she be burned alive for her crime.

If Tamar’s fetuses had any value whatsoever, her execution would have been delayed until after their birth. There was no condemnation on Judah for deciding to take this action.

Exodus 21:22-24. If two men are fighting and one injures a pregnant woman and the fetus is killed, he shall repay her according to the degree of injury inflicted upon *her*,and not the fetus.

Author Brian McKinley, a born-again Christian, comments:

“Thus we can see that if the baby is lost, it does not require a death sentence-it is not considered murder. But if the woman is lost, it is considered murder and is punished by death.”

Halacha (Jewish Law) does define when a fetus becomes a nephesh (person), a full-fledged human being, when the head emerges from the womb. Before then, the fetus is considered a “partial-life”; it gains full human status after birth only.

The Babylonian Talmud (Yevamot 69b) states that: “the embryo is considered to be mere water until the fortieth day.” Afterward, it is considered subhuman until it is born.

Rashi, the great 12th century commentator on the Hebrew Bible and the Talmud, states clearly of the fetus ‘lav nephesh hu — it is not a person.’

The Talmud contains the expression, “the thigh of its mother,” i.e., the fetus is deemed to be part and parcel of the pregnant woman’s body.

This is grounded in Exodus 21:22. That biblical passage outlines the Mosaic Law in a case where a man is responsible for causing a woman’s miscarriage, which kills the fetus.

If the woman survives, then the perpetrator has to pay a fine to the woman’s husband. If the woman is killed, the perpetrator is also killed. This indicates that the fetus has value, but does not have the status of a person.

There are two additional passages in the Talmud which shed some light on abortion. They imply that the fetus is considered part of its mother:

One section states that if a man purchases a cow that is found to be pregnant, then he is owner of both the cow and the fetus.

Another section states that if a pregnant woman converts to Judaism, that her conversion also applies to her fetus.

Some Jewish authorities have ruled in specific cases. one case involved a woman who becomes pregnant while nursing a child. Her milk supply would dry up. If the child is allergic to all other forms of nutrition except mother’s milk, then it would starve.

An abortion would be permitted in this case, a potential person, would be justified to save the life of the child, an actual person.

Judaism supports abortion access for women. Polls show 90 percent of American Jews supporting abortion rights.

Pro-life apologists say at least the unborn has *some* value in the Old Testament, if not actual or real personhood. But the New Testament is more permissive than the Old Testament!

In Christianity, Paul’s gospel displaces Jesus’ gospel. Jesus, a rabbi, repeatedly upheld Mosaic Law (Matthew 5:17-19; Mark 10:17-22; Luke 16:17) as did his apostles (see chapters 10, 15, and 21 of Acts). Paul, however, claims Mosaic Law has been abolished, referring to his previous adherence to the Law as “so much garbage…”

So even if you could find a verse in the Old Testament indicating concern for the unborn, Paul, and not Jesus, says it’s “garbage.”

Like animals in contemporary American society, the Bible accords the unborn marginal concern which is often inconsistent at best.

Paul doesn’t say anything about abortion in any of his epistles. Paul repeatedly attacked sexual immorality.

“This is God’s will—your sanctification, that you keep yourselves from sexual immorality, that each of you learn how to take his own wife in purity and honor, not in lustful passion like the gentiles who have no knowledge of God.” (I Thessalonians 4:3-5)

“Make no mistake,” warned Paul, “no fornicator or idolater, none who are guilty either of adultery or of homosexual perversion, no thieves or grabbers or drunkards or slanderers or swindlers, will possess the kingdom of God.” (I Corinthians 6:9-10 [NEB])

Paul told the gentiles to train themselves for godliness, to practice self-control and lead upright, godly lives (Galatians 5:23; I Timothy 4:7; II Timothy 1:7; Titus 2:11-12).

He instructed them to *always* pray constantly. (I Thessalonians 5:17)

Paul wrote further that women should cover their heads while worshiping, and that long hair on males is dishonorable. (I Corinthians 11:5-14)

According to Paul, Christian women are to dress modestly and prudently, and are not to be adorned with braided hair, gold or pearls or expensive clothes. (I Timothy 2:9)

Paul doesn’t say anything about abortion in any of his epistles, but would it matter if he had?

Conservative Christians are quick to condemn anyone preaching a false gospel, but some conservative Christians argue not only that they’re not under Mosaic Law, but that they don’t have to follow Paul, either, because Paul claims the risen Jesus said to him three times “…my grace is sufficient for thee…” and they take this biblical verse as a license to do as they please.

    If their view prevails, then:

What basis do pro-life Christians have for prohibiting abortion?

    Doesn’t “three times…” justify choice?

Secular pro-life arguments are religion-neutral and thus applicable to everyone, including atheists and agnostics.

The pro-life movement ALREADY HAS the support of organized religion.

Instead of preaching to the choir, i.e., wasting time with religion, pro-lifers should focus on embryology and prenatal development, DNA, RNA, etc. to make their case to our mainstream secular society.

    • If homosexuality were genetic, it would never have survived evolution. Homosexuals can’t reproduce. You can’t have it both ways. If evolution is false then creation is what happened and God would not create homosexuals and then condemn them for being that way. Again, you can’t have it both ways. Sorry!
And you totally missed the message in Genesis. Judah was making a mistake to kill her and in the end her pregnancy was saved. Read the whole story. Not just two sentences.

          • Trump (THE CHOSEN ONE) claims to talk to “god”. Can’t quote one bible scripture. Only quotes commies and now Hitler. Adulterer, criminal, liar, scum. Anti American. Lot of pent up closeted homosexual rage. Can’t have a relationship with a woman. Gropes daughter.

          • This is for Mike Otrok. For starters, you’re full of yourself. Your remark regarding Trump talking to God is stupid. All Christians and Jews talk to God. We call it prayer. And the miracle is that God provides answers if we will just listen. As for the rest of your screed, it’s garbage.

    • “Before you were formed in the womb, I consecrated you” says Scripture. “I was intricately wrought in the womb” said David; the word “fetus” and the word “I” as to who, not what, was “intricately wrought” are incompatible, as the former term is a thing and the latter term a person. It is lamentable that the KJV bible terms humans a “that” or “which” instead of a “who” . . . such mis-semantics dehumanizes persons with souls and infers that they are mere objects. Rather than exclaiming: “IT’s a boy!” the correct wording for the newborn babe is: “HE’s a boy!
The Greek word “brephos” (meaning human babe, a person with an eternal soul) applies to BOTH a PRE-born BABE (Luke 1:41) in a WOMB AND an ALREADY-born BABE lying in a MANGER (Luke 2:14). The Talmud is not Scripture, but mere take-it-or-leave-it commentary; the (Old-Testament) Tanach is Scripture. Judah, in quasi self-righteous legalism, was prevented by God from burning Tamar and her womb babe, by being exposed as the erotically-lonely fornicator who got Tamar pregnant, even though she had, in her sexual desperation, temporarily played the prostitute. “In sin did my mother conceive me” said David; the “me” word used obviously signifies more than non-conscious fetal tissue.
The Mosaic moral Law yet applies as mandatory to New-Testament Christians for sin definition and holiness, but not for atonement against sins related to violations and disobedience against that Mosaic moral Law.

    • Vasu Murti
Your baseless rants are only your extremely weird twisted and convoluted interpretations.
You insert things that are not there. You are as much a a liar as Buttplug.

        • Mike Otrok: You are a sick, demented little fool that THINKS he’s funny. Which you are not. With each and every post you leave, you show the world how void you are of any common sense or decency .Your foul postings against President Trump are disgusting and rude and full of lies.. It’s a shame your parents never taught you how to act as a normal human being. And whoever told you were amusing, just like yourself, need a serious psychiatric evaluation. Did you ever stop to think why most don’t respond to your ridiculous and childish ranting’s? Well then other to made fun at you that is. Nor is it because you are so much smarter then them. But they know what a jerk you are and they are ignoring you. Why don’t you just shut up and grow up !

          • Growing up isn’t something the child was taught by his failed parents. More to the point he needs a pacifier to shut him up and a diaper change.

    • It’s not about religion first of all, for that’s man made, it’s about a relationship with our Creator, Almighty God. Jeremiah 1:5 states “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you: Before you were born I sanctified you….”. Psalm 139 : 16 “Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written. The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them”. An unborn baby is just that, at time of conception and doesn’t grow into a human being.

      • religion is not man made..it is of God..besides the ancient Hebrews..Jesus Himself was establishing His church when He named Simon..Peter the rock..He also established a priestly lineage..and left us a governing body to correctly interpret the scriptures so as to not have anyone making up their own rules or picking what or what not to follow or believe…Jesus said to Simon..I call you Peter..you will be the rock upon which I build my church..and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it

        • John, I understand, I’m speaking of all the various and different religions. Jesus said he will build HIS CHURCH which is comprised of all believers. I’m not knocking the assembling (going to church) of people gathering to worship, as a matter of fact I encourage it.

          • And in fact, there are / were / will be very few TRUE believers.
Matthew 7:21, Not everyone who says to me “Lord, Lord” will enter the kingdom of heaven but the one that does the will of my Father in heaven.
Matthew 7:23, And then I will declare to them, “depart from me you workers of lawlessness, for I never knew you”.
Matthew 7:14, Small is the gate, narrow is the path that leads to salvation and only a FEW find it.”

      • The pro-lifers seem hard-driven to resort to ad hominum attacks or twist the words of the scriptures to suit their otherwise unsupported “interpretations” of scripture. Sad.

      • Joann, I was responding to Vasu. If your question, “say what”? is directed at me about religion, it’s true. Do a count how many there are today. It’s because man has so many doctrinal differences and can’t agree. The Bible speaks about self-imposed religion. Pure and undefiled religion is to visit orphans and widows in their trouble and keep oneself unspotted from the world. Christian is defined as a follower of Christ and nothing else. A baby is a baby not a fetus.

    • You have taken so much out of context and twisted to fit your warped mind.
JESUS said “by this all will know you are my disciples if you have love for one another.”
Your pharisee reasoning shows your heart to be black as coal.
IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME I REBUKE THE EVIL SPIRIT YOU HAVE GIVEN PURCHASE IN YOUR LIFE AND BIND IT AND CAST IT OUT.

  2. When science discovers the gene that causes sexual orientation and right-wingers begin aborting LGBT fetuses, what will the LGBT community do? Align themselves with the homophobic right merely paying lip service in their opposition to abortion? Side with pro-choice Democrats allowing prenatal hate crimes against LGBTs to take place under the guise of “choice”? Or join Democrats For Life?

“I don’t believe in abortion on demand. The day we can solve the world’s population problem, the problem of browns in Central America, the problems of blacks in the ghetto, by aborting them, that’s unacceptable to me.

“How about the kids in mental hospitals? They’re parasites on the environment. How about the old people in the institutions? They’re cluttering up the landscape. Do you want to exterminate them, too?”

—Senator Ted Kennedy, 1970 Campaign for Senate

(taken from Kristen Day’s 2006 book, Pro-Life Democrats.)

Kennedy’s position wasn’t always in line with abortion advocacy groups, one of many formerly pro-life Democrats who changed with the political winds as the party moved from one influenced by pro-life southern Democrats and pro-life Catholics to one dominated by the abortion-rights feminist groups like NARAL and Emily’s List.

Kennedy displayed an eloquent pro-life position in 1971, prior to Roe v. Wade, when he wrote a letter to Catholic League member Tom Dennelly.

“While the deep concern of a woman bearing an unwanted child merits consideration and sympathy, it is my personal feeling that the legalization of abortion on demand is not in accordance with the value which our civilization places on human life.

“Wanted or unwanted, I believe that human life, even at its earliest stages, has certain rights which must be recognized—the right to be born, the right to love, the right to grow old,” he wrote.

“On the question of the individual’s freedom of choice there are easily available birth control methods and information which women may employ to prevent or postpone pregnancy. But once life has begun, no matter at what stage of growth, it is my belief that termination should not be decided merely by desire,” he added.

“When history looks back to this era it should recognize this generation as one which cared about human beings enough to halt the practice of war, to provide a decent living for every family, and to fulfill its responsibility to its children from the very moment of conception,” he concluded.

Other prominent pro-life Democrats who eventually abandoned the courage of their convictions include former president Bill Clinton, Dick Durbin, civil rights activist Jesse Jackson, and “common ground” congressman Tim Ryan.

In an article appearing in the September 1980 issue of The Progressive entitled, “Abortion: The Left Has Betrayed the Sanctity of Life,” Mary Meehan wrote:

“If much of the leadership of the pro-life movement is right-wing, that is due largely to the default of the left.

“We people who marched against the war and now march against abortion would like to see leaders of the left speaking out on behalf of the unborn.

“But we see only a few, such as Dick Gregory, Mark Hatfield, Richard Neuhaus, Mary Rose Oakar. Most of the others either avoid the issue or support abortion.

“We are dismayed by their inconsistency. And we are not impressed by arguments that we should work and vote for them because they are good on such issues as food stamps and medical care…

“It is out of character for the left to neglect the weak and the helpless. The traditional mark of the left has been its protection of the underdog, the weak, and the poor.

“The unborn child is the most helpless form of humanity, even more in need of protection than the poor tenant farmer or the mental patient or the boat people on the high seas.

“The basic instinct of the left is to aid those who cannot aid themselves—and that instinct is absolutely sound. It is what keeps the human proposition going.”

    Meehan stated elsewhere:

“Writer and activist Jay Sykes, who led Eugene McCarthy’s 1968 antiwar campaign in Wisconsin and later served as head of the state’s American Civil Liberties Union, wrote a ‘Farewell to Liberalism’ several years ago.

“Sykes cited several areas of disagreement and disillusionment, then added, ‘It is on the abortion issue that the moral bankruptcy of contemporary liberalism is most clearly exposed.’ He said that liberals’ arguments in support of abortion ‘could, without much refinement, be used to justify the legalization of infanticide.’”

The Democratic Party platform should support: Animal Rights, Defending the Affordable Care Act, Ending Citizens United, Ending Marijuana Prohibition, Giving Greater Visibility to Pro-Life Democrats, Gun Control, Net Neutrality, Raising the Minimum Wage to $15 an Hour, Responding to the Scientific Consensus on Global Warming, and a Sustainable Energy Policy.

    • I think the reason so many democrats favor abortion is because they believe in evolution. So taking that to it’s logical conclusion. Life just happened by accident and all mankind evolved from primates. So the life of a human has no more value than a shopping cart or a stop sign. Most democrats are nihilists of nothing else.
So why do so many democrats want to disarm citizens? It’s not about protecting human life.
If it were they wouldn’t use euphemisms like “mandatory buyback”. They would call it what it is.
We are going to force you to turn in your gun, and we will give you some compensation for that gun from the money we stole from you through taxation.

    • Vasu, since you’ve been told repeatedly that no one ever reads your garbage, I wonder if you ever read what any of the other people on these threads say. Clearly, we’re not getting through to you. You might consider seeing what others have to say who don’t think like you. You might actually learn something.

  3. How to Debate Liberals on Abortion:

John Morrow, a pro-life Christian taking a stand against abortion on secular human rights grounds, converted me to the pro-life cause, when he was debating pro-choice liberals (and they were dominating the discussion!) on USENET, from 1986 – 1988.

Prior, I was under the impression that abortion was solely a “religious” issue, and we shouldn’t impose our “religious beliefs” upon others.

The sad irony is many pro-lifers see animal rights not as social and moral progress for all mankind, but as someone else’s “religious belief” which they think doesn’t apply to them. A lot of people look at abortion that way, too, you know!

    1. John Morrow said he disagreed with the Republicans for failing to provide enough social support for children once they’re born.

In 1992, pro-life Democrat Robert Casey said he would strongly support Lynn Yeakel who was then running against pro-choice Republican Senator Arlen Specter in Pennsylvania.

Yeakel favored abortion-rights, too, but, Casey said, “we agree on all the other issues.”

Casey stated further that he would not leave the Democratic Party. The anti-abortion Republicans, he insisted, “drop the children at birth and do nothing for them after that.”

Barney Frank similarly commented that for Republicans, “Life begins at conception and ends at birth.”

    2. John Morrow said his opposition to capital punishment led him to oppose abortion.

    3. John Morrow compared discrimination against the unborn to homophobia and xenophobia when debating pro-choice liberals.

    4. John Morrow said he supported sex education.

    5. John Morrow said he supported contraception.

    6. John Morrow said when Roe v. Wade came down, a different set of morals was in place: even mainstream secular American society would not accept single mothers, there were “shotgun weddings,” homes for unwed mothers, etc.

I must point out that when the Mary Tyler Moore show premiered in 1970, they decided against making her character a *divorced* woman, thinking Americans weren’t ready for it!

    7. And John Morrow said health care in the U.S. should be “federalized” i.e., “socialized, like it is in the UK.”

We Democrats have been pushing for health care reform since Harry Truman.

(When I repeat John Morrow’s arguments, the right wing attacks me.)

“The moral test of government is how it treats those who are in the dawn of life, the children; those who are in the twilight of life, the aged; and those who are in the shadows of life, the sick, the needy and the handicapped.”

    –Hubert H. Humphrey

Fifty-nine percent of Democrats favored a ban on partial-birth abortion. (Gallup Poll, November 1, 2000)

Eighty-nine percent of Americans favored informed consent for women seeking abortions. (Gallup Poll, 2002)

Sixty-seven percent of Democrats would outlaw some or all abortions. (Gallup Poll, May 5-7, 2003)

Forty-three percent of Democrats agreed with the statement that abortion ”destroys a human life and is manslaughter.” (Zogby Poll, December 2004)

Seventy percent of high school senior females say they would not consider abortion if they became pregnant while in high school. (Hamilton College/Zogby Poll, January 2008)

Seventy-seven percent of Americans believe abortion should have stricter limitations. (CBS News Poll, January 2008)

Twenty-nine percent of Democratic Convention delegates disagreed with the statement, “Abortion should be generally available to those who want it rather than under stricter limits or not permitted.” However, 52 percent of Democratic voters as a whole disagreed. This large discrepancy between party leadership and membership indicates a serious problem that Democrats For Life of America wants to rectify.

During the 2008 campaign, Reverend Jim Wallis (of Sojourners) advised Barack Obama to support a plank in the Democratic Party Platform that would aim to reduce abortions by focusing on supporting low income women and making adoption easier. (This is the 95-10 Initiative, advanced by pro-life Democrats in Congress.) Reverend Tony Campolo served on the Platform Committee and has issued a strong statement in support of a pro-life position.

A “conscience clause” which appeared in the 2000 Democratic Platform (but not in 2004) acknowledges that there are pro-life people in our Party and we respect their views. It reads as follows:

“We respect the conscience of each American and recognize that members of our Party have deeply held and sometimes differing positions on issues of personal conscience, like abortion and the death penalty. We recognize the diversity of views as a source of strength and we welcome into our ranks all Americans who may hold differing positions on these and other issues.”

Kristen Day of Democrats For Life said in 2014: “Roughly a third of the Democratic Party is pro-life. And while many do not call themselves liberal, they share the values which seem to identify with liberalism, particularly a commitment to helping the vulnerable and providing a social safety net.”

  4. Most likely, Pete Buttigeg has his own Bible where it says that some Christians are allowed to have an abortion, that some Christians are allowed a homosexual lifestyle, and some Christians are even supposed to pay a minimum wage of $ 15. And the author of this wonderful bible, of course, is Pete Buttigeg.

  5. COME ON ,,,,,,SODOM AND GOMORRAH! IF you shed innocent blood your blood is required, if a man sleeps with a man, if a woman sleeps with women, man or women that sleep with animals,,,,, death is the penalty. IDIOTS that try to justify in the bible for their sins are going to die and go to hell UNLESS THEY REPENT! The BIBLE IS THE TRUTH!!!THE ONLY TRUTH IN THE WORLD .IF you are going to sin be what you are and call it what you are, A SINNER, do NOT try to justify your sins by TWISTING THE WORD OF GOD TO JUSTIFY THE SINS THAT WE ALL DO.

  6. The Bible states that God will use the simplicity of the gospel to confound the wise. It looks like we have some wise idiots here. One simple verse of the Holy Bible “when you were in the secret place, the womb.I knew you.” That settles it. I’m sure y’all will have a reply, or some way to defend yourself, but “someone with an an experience is never at the mercy of someone with an argument “

  7. Vasu is horribly misled. If you think the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob thinks homosexuality is ok, check out God’s urban renewal program for Sodom and Gommorah. Abortion? No way God gives “special privilege” to MURDER babies! It is all SIN. Turn from, repent of these wicked ways. Satan is the great deceiver and this Vasu person is going to find out the hard way about the truth in the bible, and also where his soul will end up for eternity if he doesn’t change his ways.

    • The bible says, those that TEACH shall receive twice the judgement. Because what they tell others could condemn them. Vasu, you are trying to lead people through the wide gate of destruction, as is Pete Butt(whatever). Sorry. Can never remember that guys name. Fortunately, most people have enough common sense to know the truth. Or, at least, will read their bible to see what the truth is.

  8. This queer needs too do more than repent. He needs too seriously go too church and ask the good Lord for forgiveness ..But he might have his own bible too live by ,satan’s bible.

  9. These people are puppets on a string just like all these movie stars, puppets, my parents and grandparents were democracts but they would not believe what’s going on. They’ll all be on their knees one day. Now is the time for all Christians to pray and keep our focus on Jesus. God have mercy on us all…

  10. Pete Buttigieg claimed that “A higher authority above his pay grade made him who he is…or in Democratic political double speak… God Made Him a Fag!
No Pete, God made you a man in his image, expecting you to maintain the human species, a process that is centuries old that has preserved the human race…God did not create you to become a sexual pervert more interested in the size of other men’s dicks then reproducing your race. Your problem Pete, is that you grew up with a ‘Sodom & Gomorrah’ complex more driven by insulting Christians and those around you who do not share your sick mentality…I notice Mayor Pete does not attack the Muslims who are throwing his gay ilk off of buildings but he are consumed with V.P. Pence and his adhering to the Christian faith…Mayor Pete will become President WHEN PIGS FLY… or is he into Bestiality, too? Notice he never mentions these two Bible passages…

Leviticus 18:22-24 “You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination. Also you shall not have intercourse with any animal to be defiled with it, nor shall any woman stand before an animal to mate with it; it is a perversion. Do not defile yourselves by any of these things; for by all these the nations which I am casting out before you have become defiled.”
Leviticus 20:13 “If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltiness is upon them.”

    • Yup, God knew before hand that Pete was going to turn against his Maker and still Pete Buttercheeks may out of his freewill turn around and repent. Just do not forget the words “You are forgiven but…… don’t sin anymore”.
This poor man has deeper feelings. He did not come out of the closet (according to his own words) just before he became mayor Pete. So deeply he was disturbed with the thought he wanted to go walk the road of sin. By saying abortion is okay, in his subconscious world he deeply wished his mom had done it to him. Yet he can not even talk about it. Talking about a very complicated disturbed mind. I wonder since Pete did great work during his service time and turned afterwards (I assume) it might be related to deep-seated PTSD. Yet he does not make a good President with all his mental problems. For a service man to speak ill about his President and the presidency in general does not present a good calling card to the Nation.

  11. The Bible is the Bible – seems ridiculous but what we see in play here are people weaponizing the Word of God to suit whatever social philosophy they have. Their opinion reaches into Scripture to justify THEIR beliefs. Sorry, it doesn’t work that way. Secularist religion scholars have tried to minimize the Bible’s truth by making it a man issued document, whereas people of faith believe the Divine authorship of the Bible. We can account for certain “historical” times that influenced behavior, ie utterly destroying a conquered foe, but the basis of Truth comes from God and to mess around with the Word to suit our purposes is forbidden and you subject yourself to Gods’ “opinion.” Not a smart thing to do!

    • No different than the activist judges contorting the constitution to say whatever they want it to say to backup their ideology / religious worldview. They claim it’s a living document.

  12. Ole Back Door Pete is no different from every other false prophet that has taken Scripture and twisted it to their own advantage to support personal agendas. Just look at the Episcopal, Lutheran, Methodist churches et al who have condoned Homosexuality, same sex marriages, openly gay men and women serving as pastors and ministers, paying for abortions with church offering dollars, etc. These people have blasphemed the Word of God and as the Bible DOES say, are condemned to the eternal separation from God. I agree with Pete’s Brother in law that Pete needs to repent not only for his twisting of Scripture but for his sinful lifestyle. Jesus teaches us that we should hate the sin and NOT the sinner.

  13. I’d like to know how Vasu is always the first to post on something like this. Make we wonder if he is working for this site. Well I scroll past all three books don’t have to time to read his/her/it’s nonsense. Only time will tell what lie the dems believe and who is the final runner. Don’t care because I have no intentions to vote for any of them.

    • Obama lied when he called himself a Christian. They all do it.
Obama even slipped and made a Biden Gaffe when interviewed by George Stephanopoulos and he said “my Muslim faith”, and Stephanopoulos corrected him and said “your Christian faith”. Talk about having the media on your side.

  14. The question posed was “what do you think” about Buttigieg stance on the Bible in light of abortion and homosexuality. Doesn’t matter what he says, doesn’t matter what I say. Matters only what God says through His word. PERIOD

  15. Actually, none of this talk about the bible and homosexuality or abortion makes any difference.
Almost EVERYONE is going to hell when they die – gay / straight, conservative / progressive, black brown red or white.
Mark 10:25, It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.
Luke 9:62, And Jesus said, “Anyone who puts their hand to the plow and turns to look back is not fit for the kingdom of heaven.”
Matthew 7:14, Small is the gate and narrow is the path that leads to salvation, and only a few find it.

    • Steve, ALL who come to Jesus and repent and accept Him as their Savior WILL go to Heaven. He died for the sins of all but He will never force Himself on us. WE have to come to Him.

      • bj, yes I know that. My point is that very few people will actually go to heaven. Those are not my words but Jesus’. Most people delude themselves into thinking they are saved. So given that, all this talk about Pete Buttigieg needing to repent or us arguing about homosexuality and abortion is silly since more straight people will go to hell than gay people (just by numbers) and less woman that aborted their baby will go to hell than women who did not abort their baby, again (just by numbers). All sin is sin, and everyone is a sinner. Judging one person for their sin is silly because you’re ignoring your own. Splinter in the eye or a plank. Take your pick.

  16. First to call Butt-Gag a front runner is a Gag in itself. With about 4% of our population being Gay I can’t see how he would be elected, especially knowing how aggressive the governmental policies would be change giving All Rights to them !!!!! I do Realize we have plenty of LGBTQ+ in our government at this time and that’s why they have come so far so fast !!!!!When the average citizens Wake up to this fact the LGBTQ+ population Will diminish very, very quickly !!!!!Hopefully Not back into their closets where they conspire how to Over throw Our Citizenry !!!!!!Let them exist without harm but, also without Heterosexual Rights, such as Marriage, right to partners Social Security ETC.!!!!! PS Ans Stop going into Our Schools with LGBTQ+_ Agendas !!!!! Our Children deserve better than that !!!!! There Futures depend on that !!!!!

  17. God is very clear in the Bible that abortion and homosexuality are sins. All sin must be forgiven to enter into Heaven. So of course he is wrong. He is putting words in God’s mouth that are not there. God is also very clear that that is wrong also. So no matter what, the idiot is wrong.

  18. Desperation will usually force an individual to strain the limits of credulity. Buttigieg thinks he has a chance of procuring the Christian vote, especially Evangelicals. He fools himself and will come to realize his duplicitous efforts are in vain.

  19. ” SERIOUSLY”, All these Clowns Running in 2020 against Trump Is such farce it’s unbelievable. There like chickens in a chicken coupe and none of them has a brain between them. In 2020 I will vote for Trump because , you know what you got ,but if you vote the other way you don’t know what you are going to get. I’m Just saying.

    • If you vote the other way you do know what you’ll get because they’ve told us.
Eliminate private health insurance and then make you pay for the medical care of illegal aliens.
Open borders and no ICE. Decriminalize illegal immigration………
